Petition. A permanent ban for buyers of silver/items on the black market. Vote pls)

I know that every player I hate people that sell silver and things for real money. These people cause much harm to the players and the game in General. Because they suffer the economy. Because they suffer decent players who are lagging behind in leveling players that for the minimum money you can buy yourself silver and not to spend time on his earnings, and to concentrate only on leveling. In the end, the developers lose their money and because of this the game is slower - and this is much more serious than all of the above. The only solution to this problem is to assign the most severe punishment for buying silver via games instrementy. If people who are going to buy silver will know that they just banned forever black silver market will collapse very soon, because nobody wants his favorite character was banned. All who maintain my words - I ask to vote. Well, if someone is against, please write why. Thank you.

  • I agree. Need to be banned forever.
  • I think they should be punished, but less severely.
  • In buying silver for real money to bypass the administration there is nothing wrong.

no.
i suggest 7-30 day ban the buyer and take away all the bought silver instead.

perm ban only encourages the player to make another account and buy again

If u pay 4 silver real money, u don`t whant to have ban every time u buy. So every silverbuyer make new acc and buy silver in official magazine (i mean buy and sell Premium Token).

Sell silvers = Permanent Ban
Buying silvers = Permanent Ban

There is no talking, it’s illegal and destroyed the game!

i read from an old article for wow, saying that perm ban didnt stop rmt, instead people tend to buy a new char if they got perm ban for buying silver.

if you give them a short term ban like 7-30 days, they will value their char more when they get back their char and will be less likely to do rmt.

i feel this makes sense to me. just my two cents.

I think a much better solution to anyone caught buying silver.
Account striped of all items and silver

or if they feel like being a bit kinder
All items made untradable and striped of all silver.

I think this would be a better solution and still get the point across. Banning would just make people bitter even if they knew that would be the outcome in the first place.
Removing gears+silver still seems like an adequate punishment but it still leaves them with something to lose.

It`s give player a chance 4 buy much money, make all atributes max and have fun with high lvl, coz he lvling fuster with good equip) Silver and items he can find again, but char be still good after stip silver/items)

  1. Gold sellers wont care. As long as they make a single cent out of the ordeal, they will still spam the chats, simply because they can do so for free, thus:
  2. the only people whom you punish are the players, which we can argue about how effective and/or whatever it is, but in the end it will lead to an even more broken community.

Tree of savior as it is, is one of the most archaic and restrictive games i have played in more than 15 years, and i have played a lot.
The notion of capping dungeon runs and restricting trade are leading back to the LITERAL stone age of the internet when game makers had absolutely no idea what they were doing.
At every turn, players are restricted, taxed, screwed supposedly because of hackers, sellers, cheaters.
At this point i dont want to see any more threats, restrictions what the flying **** ever on players.
SOLVE the god ****ing seller and cheater issue by adding an anti-cheat engine, banning ip ranges, modifying your mentally handicapped chat filter which cant be disabled so instead of it blanking me out when i dare to type class (because thats obviously equal to ass), it actually blocks the god â– â– â– â– â– â– â–  sellers.

I have had it.
TL;DR: I dont want to see anything related to players when it comes to gold sellers. We are already sitting in a third rate **** mmo because of the dev’s absolute and utter ignorance and impotence. GET THE GOLD SELLERS OUT AND REMOVE YOUR ■■■■■■■ RESTRICTIONS ALREADY.

Lets agree to disagree here.
Anyways my opinion stands, perm ban is too much, a temp ban is useless bc they still get to keep everything but really gold buyers should be addressed as they are as much of the cause to the problem as the botters/RMTers.

A permanent ban is exactly what should happen, the people who are buying the silver are the people that cause the gold farmers to flood the servers and not only DIRECTLY affect the performance of the game but also DIRECTLY affect the economy.

Mountains of silver being farmed by illegitimate players entering the economy and a bunch of basement dwellers buy it all up then wreck havok on the market place by:

Artificially increasing the minimum selling price for items (dilgele…)

Causing the price of top end recipes to sky rocket. Demand is far higher then supply.

Shutting out the legitimate players from both of these markets as now they will never reach those levels of silver to buy the items they wanted from playing the game normally nor can they sell their materials as gold buyers are screwing the markets min-max ratios…

I fail to understand how someone elses progress harms the game for you. Especially a game with such limited trading. Outside envy i see no logic.

I will repeat this just for you so you can understand how people buying silver affects everyone else.

I can give you a 101 on economics if you wish ?

Basicly in a nutshell, when piles of illigitimate silver is being funneled into players who purchase it with real money, this causes hyper inflation in the market.

Those silver buyers all want that shiny weapon worth 1million silver, so EVERYONE and their dog buys 1m silver because hey there is 1000 bots farming it and its only 50 cents right.

Now 1000 players bought 1 million silver and they ALL want that shiny weapon which there is only a few of because the drop rate is scarce. Now the people holding the shiny weapon realize that oh hey all of sudden so many people have the 1m silver for it and demand is WAY UP.

Shiny weapon is now 50million silver so alas those 1000 players go off and buy another 49million silver to get the shiny weapon… AD INFINIUM.

Now it is impossible for legitimate player a, b and c to ever get that shiny weapon through playing the game normally as the drop rates for silver in no way match the artificial price created by players buying piles of illegitimate silver…

Understand now why rmt is screwing you over even IF you participate in it…

Sounds like someone missed out in DC universe,

Lol when u cannt even enjoy the game wit smooth gameplay, space-bar spamming dungeon, endless time dungeon queue and so on. Get IMC to solve this priority. Else I think ppl will jus leave the game instead. Waste of time to talk about ban gold seller.

Stop wasting your time. They wouldn’t look into it. They never did back in GE.

There you go, now you can edit a poll into your opening post if you want

I think it’s common practice to let it slide and just remove currency if they are caught… Don’t want to lose players.

That said… I think we’d be better off with a 2-3 day ban and take away the silver… That’d be plenty of time for them to be annoyed… But not annoyed enough to quit. A couple days to sit there… Looking at their steam icon… Remembering they I can’t play ToS. Seems good enough to me.

IMC has to do a very deep investigation of characters, and logs to find the Root Accounts of all these sellers… and Ban them.
