What do you think?
I think no.
I was told on a Facebook Group that IMC was focusing more on the Korean CBT for the Feedback. The international was more to people Stress the servers for test and help only with some Translations.
“Words of the GM” The guy in the group said.
I think yes.
Cause my onions worth more than all your onions.
Seems harsh considering some people didn’t get to play enough to find any bugs, some people didn’t realize they got into the closed beta with the second key distribution, etc.
I think that the people who were asking why the game was down or asking for keys constantly even though the beta ended… they shouldn’t really get keys even if it’s harsh and unfair because really, they didn’t even look at the front page that the beta ended which was a post made by the staff and if they can’t be bothered to read “Beta Test Has Officially Ended” then they shouldn’t really get a key
Potatoes.
edit: Bold think because I don’t wanna be left out
Well, it’d certainly make it an incentive for people to report bugs in the next beta.
And it assumes the next beta we’ll have (whenever that is) is another closed beta.
As for the last beta, not sure whether there were people who actually didn’t report a single bug. I’d say the rule is fair if such people exist though.
I would be fine with that.
Purpose of a beta test is to help test things. If you’re not going to report bugs or give feedback, why are you even taking part in the beta test? I can understand if you didn’t run into any bugs to report (though I’d find that unlikely), it’s not hard to give some feedback on the game.
I think that I don’t care.
Just kidding.
Not really. I report bugs either way.
Doesn’t make any sense and will not happen. The beta code we got allowed us to download the game to our steam account. We now have permanent access to all other betas.
Link to source? Just curious.
We can only hope…
Anyway, i though IMC was just testing the server, as how many users can the server handle, etc.
I did my rightful duty as a beta tester and reported all the bugs I came across, especially with the higher level quests.
Shame on everyone else who didn’t and just used beta to test out their 1337 builds or ERP (¬‿¬)
I think it would be hilarious.
You damn bet the next group of testers would be doing a hell of a job looking for bugs.
ERP? Enterprise resource planning?
Just by playing, testers are providing data (time spent playing, progress, etc).
So no, there’s no reason to have a test phase with that kind of restriction.
“-Unzips Oak Staff.-”
“Gaze upon my Prominence”
“Take a look at my fire pillar baby”
“-Pulls out 2h Sword.- Big Ain’t it.”
The things you see in ToS last day.
It all comes down to people being bitter that they didn’t get a key… It’s a server stress test, not a time to gather your friends and play. They COULD have skipped us and relied purely on the Korean server and just translated it later and give it to us, but then it would likely be unstable and full of bugs. Not everyone could join because the server might not have been able to handle everyone all at once so to make sure they could actually test it without it crashing non-stop, limits had to be put into place.
Type ERP gaming in google
actually don’t do it… lol JUST DON’T DO IT no Shia … just no.
My onions are way better.
If IMC was just concerned with stress testing the game, then they wouldn’t have created dedicated Feedback/ Bug Report sections regarding the Beta Test.
And I’d be concerned if IMC was just listening to the Korean CBT to polish the game up; that’d means we have no say at all about anything about ToS (what’s the point of these forums then?)
ERP is going to be why ToS is so popular
that and the BRs flocking to the f2p flavor of the month
