You just wrote an entire post calling westerners stupid, classifying our entire culture as “dumb”.

Then, you went further to pass off any of the issues that ToS has and attempt to point out how “dumbed down it is compared to RO” and pointed out that we still can’t play this game without a guide/aid.

Then you suggested they shut the forums down because apparently stopping all players from being allowed to communicate with the each other and the devs will make ToS successful and not piss everyone off.

If you don’t understand why your post was retarded, then I can’t help you. Perhaps you should smash your keyboard.

Stopped reading there, everything you’ve said up to this point and beyond has been made irrelevant due to your sexism

Add-ons or not, give credit to those that take their time to make the game a more enjoyable experience than originally delivered. You will have those with malicious intentions and solving those issues will always harm the good guy in some way.

Personally, I’m against majority of the add-ons as it is TMI and spoils the game. To each, their own.

I think IMC need doing green list of allowed addons… now the situation is very tense, many people at risk.

Only idiots are at risk

I would like to say informational as stated by many who received replies in their requests, but I would put it this way…

As long as the add-on does not go beyond the in-game functions of displaying information, you are ok.

Eg. Exp viewer

Example of an add-on that would not meet this requirement is market viewer, as that bypasses the town npc.

This stupid should be banned by sexist. Well, what can u expect, in east still reamins this stupid culture.

Culture…excuses…

This is the only important part of all your text, but also it was already answered.

IMC stated they are fine with addons that dont interfere with the gameplay, dont exploit weaknesses in the game, and dont hamper other players.
This is all you need to ever know.
Does your addon do something automatically?
Does it enable you to do something you can not do with default UI?
If the answer is yes, then its not allowed, if the answer is no, then by IMC definition its allowed.

2nd part: we dont know what the addons do.
Yes thats correct, and we can only hope they are just doing what they are said to. So IMC has to restrict possibilities for addons to interact with the game (repair UI for example)

If only those add on makers would ermmm let’s say submit a project they’re doin’ here in the forums and let’s say IMC would approved it then everybody would be happy.

Or maybe, IMC will jst visit the add on site and maybe tell them to take down some add on coz yada yada against terms and stuff.

I only used the exp viewer since it motivates me to grind. The quest thingy sucks, kills the point of looking for quest so I turned it off. Report bot on chat box was neat too, if only imc would embrace some of these add ons and work on it officially. I’d be soo happy.

The most successful MMO ever was a western mmo…

Except the large portion of the community that advocates that you don’t follow cookie cutter builds, but well pretend they don’t exist so you can enjoy the fallacy of your argument. That aside when it comes to lvling people are looking for the most efficient route because they are excited about the game, if people want to do that they are missing out on a good learning experience but they are just excited to hit max and try things.

You just confirmed @FlanFlan was right when they stated you called westerners stupid. Then you called the forums and everyone on it stupid… and yet you didn’t exempt yourself. Good job you just called your self a idiot.

Everything your stated has been a aggressively stated opinion. Also opinions don’t equal facts lol.

There are things in FlanFlan’s post i disagree with, but your arguments are worthless with no though or reasoning.

Seriously what is your purpose here other than to be my entertainment to pass the work day by faster.

While I agree with you that it should be fairly easy to dictate which ones are safe with common sense, when I read this:

In fiote’s cwFarm add-on it’s kind of the reason for me starting this thread. While the if (cxScanner) is checking if the cxScanner add-on exists and the entire line of code will be skipped otherwise, there is no reason that fiote’s entire PRIVATE market scanner add-on has to be referenced in the cwFarm add-on.

I could not find the source code to cxScanner however it’s been confirmed that it scans the market and saves a log file to your computer with a snapshop of the whole market. Without seeing the source code I’m unable to determine if you can scan the market without needing to be at the market NPC or not.

Regardless, I really do not think IMC would endorse a market scanner like this.

But cxScanner has nothing to do with the intention of the cwFarm add-on that can be agreed upon right?

So unless you can read and understand the code going on in these add-ons, are you really able to determine how “safe” they really are?

I think the stance on which add-ons are not allowed is quite clear. If they abuse the system, they are out, just like in any game. The blog post does state which ones they thought were inappropriate. Yes, they could be more clear about which add-ons they think are allowed by giving us examples for an already existing ones but otherwise it’s common sense.

Care to explain better you misogyny comment?

I would say no to that add-on. From their posts they made it pretty clear any information you need to be at a NPC to obtain they don’t want you to be able to obtain away from the npc. Even if it is a time shifted saved piece of data i think they would still be against it.
