PC Gamer Review: 58/100 - "One nostalgia trip you might want to skip"

It doesn’t matter, I’m enjoying the game thus far. What’s your point for posting this again? You want us to quit because some self-entitled “gamer” made a bad review of the game, is it what this is all about? O_o

yeah game is bad, need to quit now. we need to gtfo this game ASAP

As I said:

It is still more positive reviews than negative. Approximately 29% more in fact. So, if the number of reviews is all that matters, like you said, then you would agree that you are wrong. Either that or your own logic doesn’t apply when it counts against you, only when it counts towards you. Which is it?

I’d bet my left ball that this hypocrite is still playing the game.

Did you also try to convince your parents that your D+'s in high school were just as good as B’s?

You’re the guy who has a family right? The one who has children, wife and sh*t.

You’re the guy who has a family right? The one who has children, wife and sh*t. Let me ask you something, are you still playing the game right now?

Last I played was 2 days ago, why do you ask?

Nothing I’m just curious.

I have more than 1000 hours on this game and also, I have final project due next week.
Never fail to get A, I’m Asian.
I do agree those reviews are correct but not entirely true. It’s just people(kids) get spoiled too much nowaday. So they always expect a perfect game to their taste. Sadly not, just gtfo, this game is not for them to enjoy then.

So, just quit the game.

Nobody is forcing you to play a “bad” game.

And oh - before people start to quote me saying that i’m defending IMC - no, i’m not. However, regardless of the many problems, i’m still enjoying the game as a whole. And i’m giving IMC a chance.

Whinning like a brat won’t get anyone anywhere.

If you’re unsatisfied with the game, give your feedback. If nothing positive happens, just quit the game - it’s not like IMC will magically solve everything up.

When I do find the game boring or too bad to give me fun, i’ll quit.

I think people don’t understand what reviews are for. Its to say either its worth it or not to try a game. Does it completely mean a game is bad? No. It just mean that many people might not enjoy it while other might enjoy it.
Some people always refer to review before trying something. most of this is personal opinions and some people will agree with them or disagree.

I personnaly like this game, I think most of the artists and programmers did a freaking good job.

Some stuff need balancing, some stuff need to be fixed. Just like anything in the world isn’t perfect. The review still gave a 58%. Which mean to me that’s it still worth trying.

I don’t really know what complaining peoples are trying to do with this topic, even if people agree with you. What do you expect getting from this? What do you want?

some reviews do it blindly (not literally lol)

they play the game with no information about the game and play until a certain point and then make a review based on the experience they get.

we really cant blame the negative with like 1-4 hrs of gameplay. even 0.1 hrs has some reason to rate it bad (server unstable for example).

what i dont know about IMC is why the korean version get class balance while we get a little bit bug fix and little to no class balancing.

His review was mostly right, but 2 problems:

  1. The guy didn’t even get past Rank 3, yet repeatedly uses the word ‘Grinding’ in his article, as if there weren’t enough Quests and other EXP sources available to reach the 150’s without having to grind for more than 1 level at a time.

I’ve never heard anyone say that multiple channels on a map is poor design and/or anti-social. This is literally the first time.

You mention a lot of things. Some of them are quite true. Others arent an issue. It’s not a proper list.

First these:

Out of those Bad optimization is a really big problem. The other two are not a big issue.

Unforgiving class system is a con or pro depending on your personal pov. Horrible class balance? I’ve seen worse. I think it’s quite okay given the number of classes around.
This is not WoW where doing -30% less dps then the top dps class would be considered a HUGE issue.

The only thing that could do with improvement in regards to the dungeon system is making the queue accessible via a menu, while you can continue playing the game. That would be a great improvement. The current system however, is not ‘‘horrible’’.

-Game is designed to work around bots (Bad because it hurts innocent players) [/quote] It’s a grinding game, it requires a large amount of time spending grinding…duh.

That has only been the case in the past week orso. While I agree that since then the communication has been really bad, don’t go and act like they didnt communicate very well before then…

Many issues were not properly adressed. But many others were. EU server? SEA server? SA server? You got them when you asked for them. So you should rephrase this to ‘‘many issues not properly adressed’’. Because saying they never adressed any big issues is non-sense.

TP prices are not a big issue, if anything its lack of content in the TP shop that is. Most people use their TP on phones, soul crystals or scrolls, because there isnt much else to spend on right now.

I consider that a pro, that means I actually have to think and consider how a skill would work and how it might fit into a build. Too many games these days give information that should be earned, away for free. (quicktime button events for advanced actions in action games are a good example of this…)

Just because you do list a number of very valid points, does not mean I will ignore the bullshit next to it.

Well, they couldn’t really visit the forums anyway, they have been inaccessible for the most part.

It’s not incorrect. But just looking at the way the world is designed it becomes obvious that there’s almost no choice but to do it like this, with channels. The only other alternative would be explosive levels of monster density and respawn rates on all maps.

Which I wouldn’t be against as it would solve the monster issues we are currently facing. Hmm. Sounds like a solution.

Shitty game with 10 fps, cheap IMC cant even hire a good developer.

The real problem is why this game has such a high score of 5.8.
