Pay2Win, what are your thoughts?

“Because anyone who disagree with me is a troll”.

Maybe yes, because I don’t really understand your comment earlier.
cometics BS isn’t fun for the paying players.
So a player who bought cosmetics…isn’t fun? Or buying cosmetics isn’t fun for players? Or what? :cold_sweat:

PLAY to WIN isn’t fun for people who cash the same way PAY to WIN isn’t fun for people who don’t cash.

I think he means the P2W player would have no interest in cosmetics and would rather invest their money into something that will make their character stronger instead of visually looking better.

Oh, I catch your point, even though I’m still a bit confused about how that relates to your comment earlier. Then what do you think the developer should do in order to prevent that concept happening? That’s what we’re concerned with.

Simple get the balance between the 2.

Well that’s the biggest question LOL

Profitable revenue for the developers while ensuring playbase satisfaction.

Feel free to throw out some ideas

The reason why those people you called “players with no life” are arguing about the existence of those buff potions are because they have already experienced that those kind of potions give bad impacts. At first, I was suggesting about revival items, status buff potions, but I was given some explanation that revival items will make job such priests useless and status buff potions will make the PvP a bit unfair (if it’s implemented in PvP). And in PvE, players with buff potions will surely have advantages.

I understand very well that those people who can’t afford to spend cash will think that using cash for advantages is unfair. That also applies with cash users that don’t have a lot of time playing the game will think that they also have rights to enjoy the game by keeping up to the players with much more playtime.

But the main concern is if there are players who have both the time and money. The game will become unfair for us all (players with more playing time but with less cash + players with less playing time with more cash). This is our problem, not just one sided problem. So far, most of the players with more playtime and less cash suggest that there shouldn’t be any buff potions. But from your side, the one with less playtime and more cash, said that buff potions are needed in order for you to catch up and keep up. It’s a big contradiction and we haven’t found the best solution up until now.

In an unfair world who should win:
A. Someone who has all the time but little to no money.
B. Someone who has the money but little time.
C. Someone who has both the money and time.

Guess it’s just not fun for you. As for me (and possibly many people here as well) I’ll have the most fun collecting all the cool costumes out there :v:. There are ways to make it work, they can implement those costume boxes with super cool/cute costumes unobtainable anywhere else (it works every damn time…)

In an unfair world, the one with the most sources will win. In that case, C.
And that’s not the answer nor the solution for our problem here.
If it’s about competition, it’s a fair game that we’re looking for, a fair game for everyone. Do you not agree?

Well if you are looking for a fair competition, that doesn’t exist even in the real life.

A good idea for more cosmetics are custom skills and effects color.
