I am currently at archer2/quarrelshooter3 approaching class rank up. i’m wondering what rank 6 class you guys recommend.

archer3 - for a better kneeling shot and swift step
scout1 - hiding to avoid aggro
falconer1 - support opportunity in parties

I’m divided between archer3 and falconer1…

HELP!

I’d go scout1 for cloaking(next attack +50%)+snipe combo

Falc 1 definetely. Circling will actually salvage your build some AoE with musk skills and musltishot.

Everything suggested so far is viable. Heck, even going Archer3 is viable. With level10 Kneel you become a mean green single target killing machine. It just depends on what you’re willing to give up. More AOE for less single target potential, or vice versa.

A2>QS3>S1>M1 here

so far, i like how the build plays. Cloaking with full attribs (+50% damage on the next attack while cloaked and the move speed increase) is definitely helpful in getting your ass out of sticky situations.

but if you ask me, go with what you’re gonna be comfy with. the build i did is kinda oriented more on single target damage if anything.

also, throwing caltrops and then firing off a flare in the midst of said caltrops is fun. seeing mobs stumble right into the crackling embers makes me chuckle everytime.

i go with scout, you will use cloack a LOT… rush boss, pvp, clear maps, its very good… and combo with musket if its your plan

here. leans a bit more on STR, and then DEX and some CON so i don’t die too quickly. i’m starting to add a bit more DEX though for the crit rate.

My level is 246 and this is my current stats(without any gear)

A2/QS3/SC1/MUS1

STR 305
CON 40
INT 6
SPR 6
DEX 116

Still have 14 points left for stats

I know, It is kind of glass cannon at the moment especially on Saalus dungeon. Should I stop STR for now and start to invest on DEX?

I like to focus this character mainly on PVE (NO PVP or ET)

I already got 2 sissel bracelets but still using Cafrisun set though, any recommend gear for this build? i’m planning to use Shade set (Shade Dancer/Skirt/Runner) to increase my evasion, only glove that i will use Vubbe Fighter Gauntlets(10 STR) but i heard that Shade set might fit for high DEX build.

yeah you should invest dex more. my musket has 135 dex, 2 sissel and max peta but rarely crit with snipe. shade set is good for evasion but bad for defense, once you take damage with shade set it will be hurt a lot. i never tried aspersion+shade set

IMO Ar3’s Twins arrow almost like Multi-shot lvl10 but can move.
(25 cd7sec =10hit 7secCD …Multi-shot lvl10 =11hit2 14secCD+charge time)

Can you provide me your current gears?
Also use Swift Step and tell me your Crit rate and evasion.

I would replace Scout with Falc if your main focus is PVE.

You should start adding DEX now though. The power spike at rank 8 seems to favor DEX more.
For evasion around 800-900 is fine. A balance of phy. def / evasion is good (I pref high evasion). I like my char around 1000 evasion x)
For set I would personally go with Plate since you are high STR. Make sure you refined your armor and get Asperion.

  1. Virtov Plate Top/Bottom/Boots would be your ideal + Vubb if you don’t plan on ET. Grynas is an option too.
  2. Instead of 40 Cons go for 41 for Extra stats point. 31/36/41/46 etc.
  3. Get 5KG Dumb Bell this thing is amazing (free 30 str)
  4. Stacks Ella if you need to reach your perf. DEX. I don’t recommend this since Glass Moles 10* is amazing on Musketeer.

with a qs3 job, won’t you be lock into using a grand cross than going musketeer which uses muskets? or running shot while using a musket still does ok? so does using a bow when you go mergen?

I mean as a qs3, I really don’t know if which r7 r8 job would suit you since we are forced to be using a grand cross as main weapon

i have a Stat Reset potion lying around somewhere in TS. didn’t touch it ever since getting it after the last event. should i use it to re-distribute some stats around and add more DEX? thinking of leaving STR at 200 and dumping everything else on DEX. CON stays the same for me.

you can still use RS with a musket, thought it won’t get the +2 level bonus a GC gives us. sucks, since Didel GCs are rarer than hen’s teeth and are not trade-able if you get one.

as for R8, i’m going M2.

I have a a1>qs3>wugu1 alt now, and probably would take wugu 2, now comes to my r7 and r8 choices

  • going with hacka, maybe wug3>hack?? I don’t have skills to easily stack AOE arrows than just multi shot and running shot (single target)
  • musket 2, I’m currently leaning towards this since they have higher cd skill then I can use RS
  • canon 2, canon blast has low CD and going canon 2 means needing a falconer in my build and I only got r7 left for canon1 then canon 2 for r8
  • mergen, or I could go mergen same with my musket but then get falconer on r7 and mergen on r8

which do you think suits a qs3wugu build? or should I just scrap that toon while still early? at lvl 175 now

Instead of wugu3 how about Rogue?
high STR works well with wugu/qs and stack werewolves card for back-crit.

Hakapalle would benefit you the most at rank 8.

A1-QS3-Wugu2-Rogue-Haka?

Wugu3 would work too if you want to go that route.
