ET and grinding parties are two different things. You canāt call out discrimination on ET parties when itās all about efficiency and building classes. There will always be preferences and better choices. You canāt force your ādpsā swordsman in an ET party when they can go with a better dps from archers and wizards. thatās just plain stupid.
Iāll usually go for the holy trinity in grinding parties though, someone to draw aggro, a damage mitigator and dps. As long as someone fulfills the role, you are welcomed :3
It is more of skill that makes the player, not the build. Iāve seen non-pelt swordsmen do their job better than those with pelt classes in storage and maven. Iāve gotten a cryo3 do the role as a tank too. Nothing is impossible, it is how one plays the build they created. There are some parties which Iāve join that makes me feel redundant too (as a healer). I donāt even need to heal cuz the amount of CCs are more than enough to mitigate the damage dealt to the team.
ET wise it is more of teamwork rather than meta classes. Sure meta classes can do it more efficiently but I donāt see why others canāt. Our guild has cleared 5F (not a fantastic result for others but it is awesome for us :3) with a linker/alchemist2 in a chronoless party. It is more of giving the chance to others and willingless to incorporate their build into the floor clearing strategy.

Be respectful and carry your own weight. Thats it. Iād take a non-pelt swordie whos nice over a fletcher with lv70+ attributes who acts like hot **** any day.
nope. as long as they do their part, i donāt care.
then again, the only times i do get into a party is when i do my usual dungeon runs + daily mission runs. fun as hell especially when there are a shitload of archer classes, mine included. the Siaulai mission turns into the Siaulai Speedrun.
and if someone asks for help, i offer to party up so i can assist better.

I only discriminate on DPSers that keep on dying or have under 5k HP at the 120+ levels
Also support characters that havenāt bothered put any CON and keep on dyingā¦
Basically anyone who carelessly dies. This includes me because for some reason I have a special kind of stupid to stand in front of that stupid ass tree when it claps c: c: c:
i went to alemeth party today, the party leader used a megaphone and he was looking for an archer, iām an QS and i went to the party, some seconds later a wugushi called reimurqt in orsha came to the the party, the leader said āwhich one should i kickā, he knew i was first but the other guy was a wuguchi with a manamana.
the party leader was thinking about it while the wuguchi was telling things to me like:
-you build is trash
-go to play pokemon go kid (good game to me we dont have service in my counrty)
- QS falconer is trash
i donāt know how a person can play with kind of people because they have a good equip and damage, they are just killing the game.
i think this kind of person are the same or worse than bots and we donāt have any button to report toxic players, he did the same to my friend in demon prison.
i didnāt take pictures i just felt bad and i went to another party but i stopped playing, i suppose you guys have a record being gm you should ban this kind of person too, its not about bots only. @STAFF_Max @STAFF_Amy @GM_Francis
I discriminate against all party members except the optimized one or my friends, because grinding solo yield more exp rate and 5x silver for me.
I would leave the party when I saw a composition that couldnāt work.
That being said, I ended up solo all the way to 280 as ele 3 warlock because itās really hard to get an optmized party.

Im using Thauma 3 now base on the fact i can carry the plebeian equips of my team whenever i do missions or DG. Hoping other people to carry you is like drinking a poison and expecting other people to die.
as long as everyone doing their job, i dont mind what class they are, and what build they are, having Peltasta C1 doesnt grant me anything other than i have control the pace of the fight, i.e. if my party have slightly lower DPS, i taunt less mob, if my party cleric is STR/DEX build, i taunt less mob, there are no reason to exclude anyone.
Peltasta C1 is good to have, but like you said, Cryo can pull, other class can pull, it is pointless for me to taunt a large group of mob when my party cant handle it quick or my heal cant keep up the HP lose, or the magic mob hit me so hard i cant stay alive
Grinding party isnt some super hardcore DPS check or super hardcore tanking examination
the only class i would discriminate are those keep knocking mob back, or physical link trolling

Iām rolling a Catagoon but mainly for PVP (no pelta).
Is it viable on ET/endgame?
I myself do not care who joins my grind group as long as I have the bonus exp from having different classes. Youāre grinding, if you kill a few seconds faster then me, oh well. I could careless what build you play as long as youāre actively playing and helping the group. As for ET, I can understand the want to have specific classes but also think some people are far to close minded about what can win.
PS: I do not do META, Iāve never done META. Itās so,ā¦ un-personal. Be creative, do something you enjoy playing. I will never play a Wiz3, Ele3, Warlock because that is one of the MOST boring builds out there. No offense if you like it.

If i have too pick between a good party and one only consisting of unique and special snowflakes, ill join the one that gives me the most exp per hour.
For some strange reason, thats never the second one.
My serverās still crowded enough that grinding parties only ask for chrono/healer.
I do not care what class you are, If we have a healer than its fine. You have cleric c1 only? Lets find another cleric class so we can sustain in the grind
The only thing that I discriminate is against people who act like a ā ā ā ā ā ā ā elites assh0le in the party that ruin the grind mood. I take a nice non pelt swordie anyday than an ele c3 that act like that.
Yea sure with a good pt setup, grinding will be easy and faster but with how the games go, we cant really be picky with class.
But for ET thats another thing. Going 5th floor shouldnt be that hard on most class regardless, just need to tweak your comp a bit to make it efficient(dont bring 4swordie 1 healer lol) and coordinate with them in voice chat(discord). You dont really need to bring the typical SR + Pelt c3 + Chrono/Cyro/Linker + Ele c3 + Healer everytime. A well strategist comp can easily clear until 5th floor
But aiming for higher floor. Being a class that no one would take. Even though they freaking put each class weapon in ET. I can only dream about having the end game stuff.

Only thing I really care about is a healer.
Donāt give a rats ass otherwise.
Most of player are metawhoreswannabe, Iām leveling alone with my niche builds.
They donāt understand that following some trends will lead to huge nerfs without even class reset.
What I mean is we saw the -80% nerf on priest shield, so for fletchers and elementalists for example, we should expect multiple nerfs or an incoming one.
I play for fun while a lot of elitist people who only copy paste things from meta korea think of themselves elites with the same gameplay and skill xD.
Anyways, Iām thinking dropping the game soon because community.

i only let elitist elementalists in my party that way we can have top tier aoe dps 24/7
but donāt worry swordies i donāt discriminate, i hate all the other classes equally
