The situation may change once pvp became a more important feature in this game. As of current, everyone is just focused on PVE.
But they do have the highest in terms of total damage donāt they? It is something to pay in return for that. Rather than fussing about overkills and expect everything to level a lot faster, itās not. At level 70+ grind even with overkills, it only gave me 0.02% or something, not a lot really since I did overkill (seldom) with weaker mobs. Sure I can dish out most of my damage on other mobs that gives me 3% exp but that mob were bulkier and even with critical, I still canāt do overkill. Leveling is always slow and grinding for me but not that it matters. If youāre thinking āI want to level as fast as Mayweather could runā I suggest you join or make a party as it feels way more faster than go kirito overkills everything.
Besides, I felt a lot better with a Wizard by my side when fighting a boss or something.

Seriously, if you had tried the wizard (or archer) path to level 100, you will stop thinking that Barbarian is not overpowered. We are fine on our own to level 100, but the game became ez mode which i can even play with my legs (literally) to level 100 when Iām playing Barbarian.
The only time I actually have to use my brain in this game are the rare moments were I have to dodge magic skillshots.
Other than that I pretty much go AFK against all bosses and regular mobs and collect XP.

I am honestly pissed with the overkill system. I mean, as a concept, it is great, but it is simply not inclusive, and only few specific classes can benefit from it.
What it will mean is simply encouraging players to stick to the few classes with overkill potential. For a game that has grinding element as part if its core features, this is really discouraging for majority of the other classes. In fact, to bluntly say that overkill system favors all DPS classes is a major flaw, because there a a number of DPS classes who will never enjoy the overkill benefits, simply because they do smaller damage over multiple hits rather than one huge hit.
This mechanic is simply bad. It encourage farming of low level, easy monsters instead of higher more challenging.
As for swordmans, they are just better than other classes. They get AoE normal attacks, lots of HP, high damaging skills like OP Cartar Strike, they evade most attacks with DEX.
The problem is the EXP rate gained from cards compared to mobs, those cards are kinda OP. Also, party function is still bugged. I do have issues with the Overkill system though, classes with high skill values have the advantage. It has more to do with the frequency of the overkill procs some classes have over others.
just nerf barbarian down to dust and distribute its power to the āDPSā (not really at their current state) classes that need it, like most archers, some wizard classes and like 1-2 warrior classes. that way, everyone is happy ^.^ except barbarians of course, but who cares about them, theyāre only 80% of the population and they all play the same class. 80% of the population shouldnāt be playing the same exact class in a beta⦠what about all the other classes that need testing?

Cryomancer been nerfed I read. This is an older version of the game. You should notice he take forever to kill trash mobs and almost die while a swordman would faceroll.
Okay i played a wizard to lvl 80 and a archer lvl 180 and i can tell you i win against all swordies in pvp its so ez to kite. Its true that in pve barb are kinda op but you guys always forget that it is maybe 1/3 of the game Who the Hell knows which class past 200 is broken. Than you come again here and cry about wizards op and so on. If someone know what it look like past 200 than IMC. I hit with Backstab 160k on a world boss in 1 sek with 10 sek cd OP?

It doesnāt need to be removed, jeez. Every unique thing this game has people want to be removed just because they donāt get it 100% of the time.
I dont even have ranger c3 which is op in pvp i have cloaking + Feint 100% eva reduce and dont even use backstab in pvp still destroy all swordies because all went for the lame dex builds. I dont use backstab in pvp because its kinda immpossible too use it cause ppl dont stay still in pvp its hard to hit but if it hits from behind its 100% kill deals 20-30k dmg. About overkill im pretty sure even without overkill swordies will lvl ez and faster than the other classes anyway. Ppl will still cry.
I do agree that itās a nice feature and I totally want to have the overkill mechanic in the game, but the thing is that itās not fair at the moment. There are only afew classes that can overkill consistently, and it makes those classes OP in leveling speed. Donāt mind about PVP and stuff because that stuff will be balanced separately.
IMHO overkill needs to be nerfed to a point where itās a ānice to haveā but not mandatory for speed-leveling. 25% to 50% bonus exp should be all you can get, or else ppl will use pure dex builds for leveling and stat-reset to something proper for lategame with pay2win features if those are available.
