Option to Vote to kick in Dungeon/Instance/Saalus

OP complaining about team mate who was AFK right? one minute without any tiny activity/life signs (such as moving/bonfiring/even chatting) will count as afk and then auto quit game, just like screen saver in your PC

If i summon my skeletons then AFK is it acceptable in Convent Mission?

Joke aside, instead of vote system, why not some system that “if you not hitting any mobs/boss in X seconds you will get a X seconds warning before auto kick. And then if you got 3 warnings in a run, you will get disconnected/kicked.”

I think we all have good ideas, but nobody ever attempt to tackle the biggest issue with this type of system:

-It can be abused easy. (some people commented on this, but majority is just focused on how they can make it work).

Unless that main problem is dealt with, any suggesting on how to determine a good way of implementing the system would just fall flat. Lest not forget that the games that have the vote system implemented do not limit the amount of times you can run dungeons.

Basically is the band-aid to minimize abuse by players. In other words it would require IMC to change the max runs per day system.

PS: Besides the person that is afk gets not silver, exp, or the cubes from the boss. I fail to see the point of auto-kicking the people afk at the entrance.

if someone not said it yet , it could be useful to remove the auto teleport when mission is done

Just leave only Statue protection and Fox missions and problem solved. It’s not like Canyon and Mausoleum are challenging in any way, they are just boring and time consuming.

The best idea - to leave Statue and Fox, but make them relatively harder. So that people will have to actually move their butts to clear them. But won’t have to spend that much time.

Let’s consider a full support Miko build. This person was matched with an averagely geared Doppel (not enough to one shot bosses on their level). It’s the lake mission on Saalus. The Miko uses Kagura and stays there, so the Doppel obliterates the boss. The Miko is not dealing any damage, should she get kicked while the Doppel is kicking Rafene’s ass?
Even a Squire with attributed Arrest will reduce a boss’ physical defense, thus making it easier for the party to kill. Not to mention the boss won’t move, so not only physical DPS are benefited, as WLs, release your magic circles!
Canyon mission on Saalus, Whirlwind Harpeia is kicking some asses. A Pelta Swashbuckles, goes to a corner and holds Guard and Swashbuckles again whenever it’s off cd. Harpeia is neither moving, nor mostly attacking anyone else.
What I mean is that some builds or momentary strategies aren’t meant to deal damage at all, but aren’t useless. The caster is unable to move and attack while using some support skills, like Kagura and Arrest, so… yeah. My 2 cents on damage based decision.

Shards should drop from et. None afk there and no more boring salus

Yes, this is a pain in the arse. I did 3 runs today with at least 2-3 to afk players. It makes the runs last a lot longer.

players who got kicked shouldn’t lose run (so it won’t hurt for those who got kicked out by trolls)
but yea 10/10 we need this voting system really bad.

A kick system will never exist since this is the only game in the world that limits dungeon access to a few entries a day.

People will rage from getting kicked cuz they lose their dungeon entry count regardless of if it was justified or their group were trolls themselves.

If it didn’t consume entry it could be abused to grind xp without completing the dungeon and just kicking everyone instead. :v

Currently the game itself can randomly kick you and consume dungeon entry so it’s already an annoying system.

thats why i said they shouldnt lose dungeon run x.x
it will be just a never ending loop of kicking until the leecher finally decides to help.
