I noticed better FPS in crowded areas and slightly better performance when facing some mobs (maps and missions).

It is still too bad to gvg, pvp and world boss.

DON’T FORGET ABOUT US

ā€˜ā€˜We continue to search for ways to stabilize Silute and provide steady service to users in South America, and the server is expected to be moved back to its original location in SĆ£o Paulo once the current issues have been solved.’’

4 months and nothing solved?

Good job! continue improving the game @STAFF_Max

Got minor improvements on crowded areas while having 130+ FPS on empty areas even when moving around. By empty I mean… Nothing at all around me, not even monsters. Which is kinda silly.

On Klaipeda ch1 and Fendimian ch1 FPS is ~ 5/10 FPS max. Orsha ch1 is 10/15 FPS max.

When in a party, some maps like Maven have ~ 20/30 FPS max.

Other maps no problem, ~ 40/60 FPS or more with Vsync off.

I’ll BRB when I get to participate in a WB hunt. That, I think, would be the best gauge for FPS increase effectiveness besides GvG.

but costume-whore lover dont pvp/gvg
they just catwalk in empty map with 120fps feeling good themselves
with their lv150 toons

hence, poll is ineffective

try again next time, IMC

I notice the fps got a bit better and less stuttering in towns so the patch helped me. Not going to talk about the high end of my fps while soloing since it was at 60 fps usually and any higher than that wont matter with a 60hz monitor, but in crowded towns id say 3-5 increase. The main thing for me is the stuttering is less.

Also the world map doesnt freeze as much when i open it. It used to freeze my game for 10 secs sometimes, now it doesnt.

Fixing the head spinning with AMD CPUs would be a great change for me. I buy these cool hats and cosmetics and all i see is my head spinning around when i run :frowning:

FIX MAVEN ABBY!
The map has AWFUL FPS to grind, the torch is just ridiculou i get 3 FPS… Rework the map please it’s broke.

Guys, it’s OK, but the main problem is still netcode. Small improvement like that is not gonna bring me back, because it’s not enough for GvG.

BUT, that aside, I have noticed that arena is smoother now. It was 9-14 FPS before, now it crawls close to 20-ish sometimes. Which is actually great. Too bad I was tired of arena a month ago.

Well, it’s possible to notice a FPS gain. The game is a little bit smoother here.
However, it still ā€œfreezesā€ and has an unexpected FPS drop, then goes back to normal.

Simplifying: the game is running smoother, but the randomly FPS drop are not solved yet.

I’ve noticed an improvement but prior to this update because I switched from an FX 6300 to an i3 6100, I know those are like in the same performance range but I think due ToS running on a single core optimization, the i3 helps the game a little bit. I don’t have frame drops in town (channel 1) as much as I did on my FX6300.

That being said, I don’t see further improvement on my experience, still the same 2 or 3 seconds freezing whenever I get that ANNOYING ā€œsomeone around your level is blah blah blah, you can invite him to partyā€ pop up noticed pops, same freezing whenever a player shows on my screen, let alone starts to cast skills.

But should be more important is, banning the botters, you really neeeeed, permanent shifts, paying a couple of people to do that job, botters are so damn easy to spot that you need no ā€œfurtherā€ investigation. I’ve been reporting with solid proof, botters and guess what? there they are, still farming the same spots, no bans whatsoever, I honestly thinking on using exploits too.

That will be a MORE FREAKING VALUABLE improvement to our ToS experience, than getting channels shut down and have to compete with overpowered bots in exchange of 1 digit frame increase.

I’ll just say Popolion

However, I’m glad that you are actually working on the performance of this game. Even if the progress is little (at least in my case, but again… my laptop is just… lol), I believe it will get better later. So all I can say now is just ā€œthank youā€.

Very great point. With no one around my FPS literally sits at 150-170 during dungeon runs it almost never falls befow 35-40. It used to drop to 20-25 for runs. Huge improvement for me, but then again, my Rig is worth 1700-1900 USD !

Thanks IMC !

After the optimisation patch, I was at 54-70 FPS from 17-35 in crowded places, so it’s really a good point for me.

The problem is the particle effect with Gung Ho, I see no one complaining about it but it takes easily 20-30 FPS off, always falling to 48. Sure, I can use low mode, but it’s pretty bad to use it just for this spell.
I was hoping this patch would ā€œsolveā€ it, and it was even the only thing I was waiting for, but meh…

I got quite a bit of improvement in towns, which is where I had the most dropdowns of FPS. Without vsync I get around 90 FPS in Klaipeda and it drops to 45-60ish when I’m in the area near the Goddess Statue. Before it was around 30 FPs in towns and I never really had issues in the field or inside dungeons either!

i7 4770 CPU, GeForce 770 video card and 8GB of RAM here, btw. Seems people with good PCs are the ones with the most improvements!

As I’ve said before, any improvement is welcomed… So, thank you, IMC!

My FPS drops significantly upon loading and teleporting.
Feels likes it dropped rather than improve or didn’t improve much at all.

Keep working at it.

I can agree with some skills having huge fps impact. I was waiting for my merc mission to start and someone used some priest buff i think and the fps shot down 20fps. Maybe they should look at this next.

Turning off ā€œother players effectsā€ in the setting might solve this, but i like to see what skills other people are using… Maybe put a low mode for skill effects, but still be able to see them?

Also, must add…

Out in the field, with vsync off. :open_mouth: Lol

I upgrade computer last week.
fps increase a lot from 30-50 to 110-160, enjoy the game so much.

So, the performance improvement is unnoticed :kissing:.

My FPS is at a fixed 60FPS 90% of the time.

It occasionally drops to 45-50 in Team Battle League, during AoE spam on both teams, otherwise it holds it’s steady 60FPS in TBL.

It does not drop from 60FPS whatsoever in Earth Tower.

It occasionally drops as low as 20-25FPS during some crowded World Bosses.

The lowest I have ever seen my FPS was approximately 10-15, during a 3-way GvG battle in Sventimas Exile roughly 3 months ago, with roughly 40 players on-screen attacking each other.

My computer specs are not the greatest, in fact they are definitely worse than some of the people I see complaining about performance, however they’re definitely not bad either.

My computer specs are as follows:

Intel i7-4790K @ 4.00 GHz
16 GB 1500 MHz DDR3
64-bit Windows 7
NVidia GeForce GTX 980 TI
Crucial MX200 500GB SSD

Though I have no proof I do greatly believe the SSD (not necessarily my particular model, just an SSD in general, though I do know my model tends to pull data faster than most other models) is the primary reason I run ToS quite smoothly, as it seems ToS pulls data from the disk drive more than most games.
