imc is not financially good to begin with and tos is in life support state where couple of weeks with noone from any of it servers around the world buying their cubes enough to shutdown the game
leaving imcs income from granado espada that are just tos twin in term of its playerbase

This to me is why IMC/Nexon is the shittiest gaming company. ToS profited immensely over the years from their gacha p2w system and then Nexon pocketed all the money to pump out new, more predictorial systems in other games, instead investing anything back into ToS to make standard improvements; we are JUST NOW getting 64 bit improvement after how many years? They run their games like low maintenance Slot Machines aimed at ppl who want a nostalgic mmo feel and milk them for as much as the community would collectively let them get away with. When they can’t anymore or they don’t earn as much anymore they shut it down and shovel the code into a new gacha p2w system spray painted in a new color to milk new whales again.
