New accounts can’t trade anyway. They’ll just keep their shards and transfer them to their main account over several months. They can’t detect this. It’s pure bullshit once again.
And please don’t forget to post the list of solmiki winner once the event is over.
Don’t use this candy mess as a smoke screen for the halloween cheating issue.

They won’t have shards to trade cause:
Following these changes, we retrieved the excess Odd Candies and/or items obtained by using them from accounts - which doesn’t follow new standard stated above - where the message containing the bonus had already been opened.

And you believe them? You trust IMC to track down and remove the 75 shards people have on each of their alt accounts?
Just like you trusted IMC to remove the extra dpk cubes obtained during the dpk fiasco? Because my 20+ HG cubes weren’t removed AND I got the mega compensation.

People are already logging in and saying the blessed shards are all gone from their new accounts.
Well it’s a lot easier to track with only one method of obtaining them and it’s one item only, dpk was multitude of different items so at least they should be able to do it… Of course I can’t be certain.
But it’s smarter to wait for the result than bash them before you even know the conclusion.

This begs the question,though:
why would it be called compensation if you had to participate in this mess and get scarred for life /sarcasm?
I mean sure, people who didn’t enter the dungeon until the day of the temporary maintenance clearly are suspicious (especially on new accounts), but what about old players coming back giving their shards to friends? Is it such a bad thing that people come back and share their freebies which would’ve gone to waste otherwise with their friends who’re still active?
Instead of just punishing the abusers on new accounts, they decided to give people more reasons to never come back/quit because you can only get compensation after going through hell in this game.
Pretty faulty in everything, the event conditions, the execution of “compensation”, the nerf of compensation (reminds me of Ijob again and again, the lord giveth and the lord taketh as he wishes) and still no word about the largest concern, the Solmiki weapons which will go to the cheaters and are seemingly even tradeable (yeah RMT galore forever).

So, couple of friends confirmed that their “old alt accounts” who had no trade restrictions traded their shards to main and it wasnt deleted when they didnt even do halloween event even once on alts.
They even trans’d their stuff and its intact and extras are still safe in storage.

EDIT: Yeah talking about shards gotten from 2k candy compensation.

yeah ppl have old accounts stay with shards and if you make blessed gem, you stay too

Well. I’m sure there are cases where someone had over 50 old friends giving shards to their main “friend”, right? They of course also lives in the same neighborhood and share the same internet connection and IP.
Joke aside. What’s a bit worrying is what @BurningFighter said.
There are people who have old accounts for other purposes such as event diamond anvils and such. They used those to get candy and trade shards away.
@STAFF_Ines @STAFF_Yuri @STAFF_Ethan @STAFF_Letitia please check accounts that didn’t participate once in the halloween dungeon and retrieved shards and traded them away and as well the accounts that received them. This is still a pending case.

For some they deleted shards from saalus lol
They should have kept their shards and candies in the storage.
IMC can’t look inside character and team storages.
