It’s really not as hard as you make it seem, check account’s created after last maintenance, got shards on them? Delete them.
Those shards will not leave the new accounts until 1 week is over since new accounts are trade-locked for a week incase you didn’t know.
I would start flipping â– â– â– â– on the forums if nothing happens within a week about this issue.

Just calculate how many shards one botter could have created and traded using alts in previous 24 hrs, lol.
And those botters have a hell ton of accounts already created.
You can also automatize the whole process of leading the bot from starting location to exchange candies, which makes shards creation a joke.
Then you just have to wait a few weeks or a month for shitstorm to be over… and that’s it, you have potentially enough shards to ruin economy of a server.

Also some players who already had tons of old accounts (thx to our genius idea newbie events), they already traded their stuff.
Just make the pre-requisite to acquire the 2000 odd candies compensation accounts that have entered the event dungeon at least 1 time before 14th november, it’s easy(theoretically), you can put the claim option at the halloween board instead of lodge msg(You’ve done something similar with the Master’s Unit event).
Major problem is, fixing IMCs fails costs them so much time, that new development is probably put on hold. Everything IMC does seems to create more problems than solving them. I feel pity for IMC…
