I had a really long discussion here once with a player who thought that late game classes must be inherently stronger than early game classes, like, much stronger, that is wrong and IMC has noticed that, as you say. However, making a rank2 class much stronger than these late game classes is even worse because you completely eliminate any sense of character progression, the player might even think that he’s weaker now at lvl 300 than at lvl 180, because these new classes literally do nothing better than that class he took at lvl 15.
If you’re oh so against enforcing the meta, then you’d realize that agny is completely broken and will make pyro the go-to DPS, I think that’s called a meta, but you’re probably a pyro main so what do you care?
I don’t know why you keep bringing this up, the element doesn’t matter, the crazy boosts are what matter.
It’s not. Suitable would be adding proper scaling to the skills, not making items with crazy boosts, that’s just a lazy fix.
