This is the rankings for team battle league in Varena and up to page 10 there are only 3 Swordsmen and all 3 of them are dragoons…HAHAHAAHAHA man i want to delete character (let me clarify this is page 1 out of 10)

i really would like to pvp with my highlander guy, but they need to do something for 2h sword pvp, u can only do it if u go barb, and u have only 1 good skill for it (pouncing)
before we could get highlander3>corsair, but now cleave is a must for doppel, so we are fcked =)
pve it seems a lot better than before, but pvp its not cool =/ well i’m low lvl right now so i didnt test it
So, instead of being brave and saying “I’ll show them that the swordi character i enjoy is a good character, i’ll kick their asses, get a high rank and show them swordis can be good in pvp” your reaction is a corwardly “Q.Q other swordis didn’t get a high rank so far. That means no swordi will ever be able to get a high rank, so i shouldn’t even try. I should give up and delete my character immediately.”.
Giving up and running away won’t solve anything,
BTW if i remember correctly in korea there are several swordis in the top 10s of their pvp rankings, at least one of them being a Doppel, there even was a topic about it in the general discussion subforums, i think.

Still waiting when IMC changes Swordsman name into Spearman
it’s beyond any form or idiotism how IMC made spear builds and spear weapons way better and superior than shitty sword builds and sword weapons, specially 1h swords. Not to mention that even hidden class is pure spear/pierce based (despite it’s called Shinobi and by logic it should be sword oriented)
not to mention that non of Rank7 and Rank8 classes are DPS sword based ones. I don’t count Murillo since it’s tank class
it’s even more depressing that they made rank8 archer class that will be able to use 1h sword and it will probably be better “swordsman” than actually swordsman class

While i do agree that spears are seemingly way better than 2hand swords, i’m not sure how your “by logic shinobi should use swords” works…
Shinobi in ancient japan used many weapons, some of them being spears.
Look up the “the eighteen disciplines” list in this link, it mentions both sword and spear, aswell as polearms, staffs, sickles and other weapons.

Do you want every rank to have a class for every single weapon style?
That would mean 5+ new classes per circle (dual wielding, 2hand sword, shield, rapier, spear), that’s overkill.
1H Swords are more designed for tanking as opposed to DPS, since it has like almost half the physical damage of their 2H counterparts and pure DPS builds would go 2H over 1H.
The only way 1H can match 2H is through dual wielding, but this rank 8 patch totally killed that idea. Unless rank 9 can revive dual wielding builds, it’s not a good option at the moment

If they can’t improve the FPS of this engine, or fix the netcode this game is just DoA. in terms of having a thriving PvP player base, it will not exist. There are far too many builds that are OP by default use, press skill button, win the match. Its a joke really.
Now, given that they aren’t done with the 10 ranks yet. I can give them a pass on the skills balancing, but in the mean time they need to FORCE team compositions for these random matches. Nothing else is going to keep the abused playing it, including myself.

im both a spear user and sword user as i have two different shinobi builds one is sword and one is spear and i agree with you the lack of good swords are making people choose spears over swords tbh its the reason why i rerolled to a spear based build but i saw this item Shark Cutter being sold last time i played via shout might attract sword users to up it has a good proc chance and has a better effect once proc 5x making it useful against elite mobs but this sh!t still needs preparations just like our skills hence we take so much time to deal high burst dps unlike other classes which can just throw their skills as they please pew pew pew …
anyways IMC’s working on swordsman tree these past few weeks over kTOS they’re buffing up some of the class with respect to the aspect of how they should serve their purpose see barb/highlander getting pumped up damages to better fulfill their DPS assessment and now pelts getting guardian skill buff for more defense…
im still waiting for some good hoplite and corsair buffs because these two are in my ranks and also shinobi but i doubt shinobi buffs will be announced since everyone knows hidden class updates are kept hidden as well…
one question, when you made your second shinobi you had to do the yelloe flower quest again or the class its unlocked already?
you need to re-do it ofcourse because it won’t appear unless you haven’t done the quest

-get $$$
-talk to a kid in your neighbor (preferably someone close to you)
-instruct the kid to do the job for you
-pay the kid/hour of waiting
-cut the payment by half if he doesnt find the flower on that day
-entice the kid by promoting a big bonus plus the payment cuts if the kid finds the flower
summary : i spent 3k ¥ for it, its a win win anyways i got to do my job and he earns money just by sitting,eating and watching videos in front of my computer 
Overkill??? even if you are allowed 5 free hit skills the swordsman cant even overkill. The fact that we cant hit anybody in PVP is already so stupid the fact that before we come near any enemy they just walk away and you miss ur skill? I WISH THEY SWORDSMAN SKILL MECHANIC WORKS LIKE RAGNAROK WHERE YOU JUST TARGET ANYONE AND THE SKILL WILL DO THE WORK NOT UR MOUSE OR KEYBOARD MOVEMENT KEYS. IF YOU ARE LAG HOW ARE U ABLE TO ESTIMATE WHERE TO ATTACK. ARCHERS DONT EVEN HAVE TO ESTIMATE ANYTHING THEY JUST CLICK YOU AND THE ARROWS WILL FLY LIKE HOMING MISSILES. EVEN SORCERESS WHO ARE SO IMBALANCED. SWORDSMAN CAN EVEN HIT ANYTHING UNLESS A SORC WOULD STAND IN FRONT OF YOU TO GET FREE WHICH THEY WONT DO!!! Sigh even with Pain barrier buff we’re still frozen or stunned does that mean anything to how stupid PVP swordsman is? heck id even KILL SOMEBODY FOR A 5 SEC BLACK KING BAR (Dota) skill to be added in the game. The fact that even by standing in the arena you are a burden since you cant come close to your enemies is dumb enough. Have you tried going in a full clash and then after 1 second ur dead? Arent Swordsmen frontline warriors? then how come we cant even last a full 5 seconds in a full clash unless you are a shielder? You cant even deal 300k damage at the pvp dps ranking hahahaha lmao

This stupid game should add a stagger effect to our normal attacks to lock people who are stupid enough to come near us. RESTRAINT CD MECHANIC IS TOO STUPID. CD STARTS AFTER BUFF EFFECT WEARS OFF WHAT A LOAD OF ■■■■!!!
