It honestly depends on the strategy people are running for both.
All in all, priest c3 is not a requirement to get into parties.

Yes Ressurect / Revive is handy but can be replaced with cash soul crystals (4TP, buy 1 daily if u like)
Daino is great to increase buff limit. Having level 5 seems sufficient for now. Then again you can buy daino scrolls from pardoners.
Kirvis C3 imo dosent seem to bring much, C1 is fine. It has it uses but u trade offs with other better class ranks.
You cannot use Soul Crystals in Earth Tower to revive. This is why Priest C1 is often considered a baseline requirement in a party composition when considering beyond 5 or 10 floors.

Just a couple of questions:
1)How hard is it to level/grind solo? Do you just lure mobs into owls and burn them down?
2)What gear should you aim for(endgame wise)?
So why most groups that have gone through 7th floor didnāt take a priest healer instead of krivis3 or Diev3??
In fact I couldnāt find ONE vid where there were a priest in thereā¦ :S
Few possibilities.
- Theyāve done it enough times where they donāt die. Acceptable. Is it reasonable that they can expect that all the way through floor 20? Most likely not. Because of the nature of Earth Tower (you either get your reward at 5/10/15/20 or you can continue, not both) some teams that are confident in their ability may create a composition that does NOT expect to die and DOES plan to exit at floor 5 or 10.
- They may have a Chronomancer, which can Backmask a teammate back to life.
You only need one circle of priest to Resurrect anyways. Itās not impossible some of the videos you watched had those circles you describe, but still at least had one circle for Resurrect.
The Crimson clearing party and the two clearing parties in my guild for Earth Tower all do not have a priest. Simply because we donāt know any priests that this level range and have already formed a static group for it. But weāre all very well aware that to take ET seriously we need some form of resurrection.
Itās just fact. The floors are timed. If you die at floor 7 and cannot come back to life, the result is youāre out of combat for 1ā¦ 2ā¦ 3ā¦ 4ā¦ 5ā¦ 6 floors of running. Each floor taking as much as 20-30 seconds to actually run through.
Any ET party in KR who wants to lead the forefront and make progress to the floor 15 boss needs to be able to revive and think on the fly. Losing someone at that point is guaranteeing a dead run.
@Veritas I saw your yesterdayās ET attempt on stream. Despite being the R6 class, Druid1 seemed to be the weak link in ET. However, is it really worth it to use a R6 slot for a R2 class (Priest) for resurrection? Feels so bad 
Also, do mobs in ET cause status effects? Did not notice Bloodletting being useful there either!

I wanted to be a support, but then i discovered that either you are Priest or you will not be invited.
Druid C1 is very weak in ET, correct. C2 is where you get some good tools to make it work.
In light of that, if weāre talking about changing a single circle making a notable impact, Priest C1 would be the most acceptable replacement, with Oracle C1 following suit shortly afterwards for Counterspell.
But again, Iād like to use my build as it stands for PvP, and while Priest C1 and Oracle C1 are both very respectable in their own regards in that field, Iām much more partial to Druid C1 as part of my playstyle.
As PD can you spread the stun from cleric autoattack? If you donāt know please test it - i know it might be tough with the ping to see if it works, but it would have good implications.
The stun can be prolonged via discerning evil, just like venom dot (which can tick for over 2k btw)
Now if they can also be spread that would be a strong thingā¦
Going on from that, I would maybe have gone priest c1 over druid for the long term (res for pvp and ET is good)
Krivis have daino to increase the number of buffs you can have at the same time.
Also, Zalciai with a high spr build will rise critical dmg like crazy, and give some monsters negative cricial resistance = extra critical chance.
Hex has a 9s CD.
Owl has a 90s CD.
Once you get pandemic, effigy is way way better if youāre party grinding or soloing. Owl is only better in dungeons with large/long pulls.
Havenāt grinded from 1-200 so yeah.
With DM and Laima:
Owl has a 84 second cd and lasts 75 seconds.
Effigy also takes a lot of SP before you start wracking up damage.
Also at 200+, the mobs have a lot of hp. Iām not sure if effigy will really contribute to killing mobs if your party members do a lot more damage than effigy whereas with owl, because youāll be grinding in the same place, you can just drop it and let it do its thing.
I understand that about Krivis, but still i fail to see how it can be better then a priest with buffs plus ress plus stone skin. =/
When i use Zalcai i see very little difference on my party damage, even with high spirit. =/
Could you kindly elaborate some more on the Oracle usefulness? From time to time someone mentions counterspell is good for pvp. This is first time I hear someone say it is useful for ET. Generally however there is very little information on what Oracle really brings to the party. Your input would be most welcome.
im planning on my diev3 to go oracle, just for the costume.
maybe oracle2 if PD gets nerfed enough.
Added priest variation to above build because Ress is the sh.it. Also, blessing makes leveling a lot easier

is it a necessity to have lv13 Carve Attack? Could i move a point to Carve of Valk for extra ultility? if not, why not? Thanks in advance!
