No Reset Stats in the Cash shop?

I only see Skill reset with “tosbase” WTF ? O_O

tell me we can buy stats reset !

In the iCBT you could buy Resets from an NPC in Klaipeda. Someone who plays the kToS could confirm that they exist still or not.

I’m not sure they will add right away, maybe later on.

That was for testing purposes.

Oh, that I knew. I was just curious to see if they were still able to be purchased via that method. Based on your answer; I’d assume no :stuck_out_tongue:

If i am not mistaken only skill reset but that is under Nexon KR so i am not sure how IMC will approach on iToS.

I would prefer if they added an NPC that increased the value each time you use the service, like you do on WoW for Talents. I know it is kind copy but oh well, or at least, to make some money, if you are under premium (if they will add that i don’t know) you can reset 2x per week.

IIRC skill reset was not cash shop item on KR but was given for free after major skill rebalancing and had an expiry date. In this case it may appear on iTOS.

You can count on Nexon for that.

Hi if i may ask … can you reset skill points?

Skill points can be reseted on kTOS for cash (the Blue Potion in cash), but stat reset scroll was given in some events on kTOS

Since here is not kToS we don’t know yet what IMC will do on the cash shop, so we are just waiting anxiously.

Oh god, may you not allow constantly resets allowed after release, please-please-please! It’s so lame because of it depreciates hard-to-lvl classes, like tanks or supports and kill individuallity of characters. I don’t want to live in a world of shapeshifting faces!

Don’t get the wrong idea on skill reset, it only reset skills, not classes. You will be bound to your choices forever on that char.

Depreciates them?

Bruh, there is looking to be 500-600 levels in this game.

I like a good grind, don’t get me wrong. But there is no way in hell I’m running around soloing my way up to the next dungeon as a tank with mass amounts of defensive stats.

It’s either that or gamble and hope random people will party with you. Sure, at first if you’re in a guild, you’ll be fine finding people to level.

Something tells me as the game goes on, and less new blood is running around leveling, this will be a problem.

It won’t depreciate a thing. Tanks are still tanks, supports are still supports. They just didn’t need to grind their fingers away to get to the same spot a damage dealer did with this system.

Stat reset is a terrible idea, since you can build your stats for PVE for easy grinding and then reset to PVP stats at max.

Meanwhile the people who want to PVP from the start get screwed.

How is that a problem?

Edit: The people that want to PvP from the start can do it too. Face it, this game’s main focus is not PvP so they’ll need to PvE to get there.

Why make it needlessly painful?

Says who, you? I don’t recall IMC stating that.

Only if they know that stat resets are a thing. If it gets introduced on release, then fine. If not, don’t have it.

Either you optimize for PVP or you optimize for PVE, or you go hybrid. Not really painful, its about what you want out of the game.

um currently gvg is the hardest content in the game and the closest thing we have to a end game. So i disagree

Stat, Skill, and even class resets all in the cashshop please.

Alas, I doubt a game with 500~600 levels with pseudo-action combat will be a PvP focused game.

This bit is my opinion, but I doubt it’ll be the main focus.

It would be a poor move to not introduce them on release, it is kind of a staple nowadays to have Stat/Skill resets in MMOs, be it for free or for a cost. Besides, if you want this game to have any semblance of competitive PvP, you’d be asking for Stat resets. From what I’ve noticed (which can be limited, of course) Players that care solely about PvP don’t care about grinding up to get there.

Let alone grinding there with a crappy build because the game doesn’t have resets. Someone just playing for PvP is most likely going to find issues with doing that.
Hell, back when I was in Blade and Soul a good portion of the “PvP” players I met couldn’t handle that games grind, and it could be as short as 15 hours.

In my opinion, it’d be a poor move to not have resets at the get-go. All you’re doing is punishing players for a preferred play-style and probably driving them away from the game.

Edit: @thebloodyaugust

Keep in mind, currently also pertains to, what is speculated to be, about half the actual level cap.

Dear god no, anything but that.
