I hit level 15 as an archer and did the QS quest, which asks me to upgrade a crossbow. I right click anvil, left click crossbow, it asks me to upgrade for like 500 silver, I click ok. Then my crossbow locks and I can’t use it, nothing happens. My anvil is gone and my crossbow is un-upgraded.
How do I get a new anvil, what did I do wrong? I have no idea and this is extremely frustrating, I’m stuck in this game with no explanation what happened.
Anvils can be bought at the starting towns merchant, IIRC.
Did you finish punching your anvil?
When you use an anvil you put it down on the ground and then you have to hit it 3 times…if that is the part you are missing.
Item merchant alf in the starting town sells for 300g. I did it over this time and didnt realize you have to look at your screen for hte anvil and click it 3 times that automatically appears on the ground.
