Just bring back the old dlc prices ( at last until 4/21 ) , bot/rmt isnt a valid argument to increase their price right now, you can wait 3 days to raise their prices.
No

Considering how much money IMC has already made, they probably will not give a flying f__k.
I’m not sure if you’re joking or if you honestly don’t know how publishing/developing MMOs works. They haven’t made any money yet. I can guarantee you that. Maybe they will in a year or so, but not yet.
No thanks. Leveling a lowbe alt right now, and I must say its bot free up to level 35. About to enter Tebot, i mean Tenet now for the true test.
No problems here paying to play to keep the crap out.
Yes, I know they have not made “break even” or they are not even “in the black” as we call it in financial terms.
Let me expound. Considering the huge potential of the game, from the amount of sales they made just from the founder’s packs, they can actually not care about a few customers who will complain about the high price.
Edit: Someone from another thread made a shorter, better explanation.
what kind of drugs are you on?
prices were not changed at all. they simply REMOVED Founders’ Pack 3.
and it will go back once they feel they’ve sufficiently dealt with the Bots.
until then? too bad.
They were though. The price was made universally approximately $50. There is no more regional pricing now.
well, the fact that it -wasn’t- that way to begin with was pretty stupid.
Not really. I’ll use some of my current living situation to exemplify why this is. I currently live in the 6th most expensive city in the USA. The second half of this year I will be travelling though, primarily through Southeast Asia.
During that time, I will be staying in hotels that go as low as $8-10 a night, with meals averaging $4. It will literally be significantly cheaper to rent hotels and eat out every day there than it would be to rent a one bedroom apartment here and eat nothing but rice and eggs. Do you think they should pay the same amount for a game that I should? $50 holds WAY less value here than it does there. 4 hours of minimum wage work here would get you the best founders pack. 4 hours of minimum wage there would barely get them the worst one. That’s not fair.
I don’t agree with what IMC did, but it is definitely their right to do so. It is just a shame that so many dishonest players can ruin things for others.
blegh, yea, i can’t really disagree with that.
oh well, doesn’t matter -that- much, f2p anyway in a week-ish.
almost everyone that was gonna buy it by now probably already bought it.
4 hours of minimum wage would get you $50 for the best founder’s pack? What city do you live in?
I am from Seattle, Washington. It’s fairly easy to get a job for $16-17 an hour here. Minimum wage is $13 an hour, soon to be $15. I did not include federal income tax though (we have no state tax), nor the tax on the founders pack sale. Overall you would be approximately $8 short with that all included. I feel my point still remains valid though.
An interesting side-note is that Seattle is one of the few places in USA that also pays their waitstaff, baristas, and bartenders minimum wage, so they can make quite a bit with tips included. I would imagine this would be very important for other career choices as well, but I can’t think of any examples currently.
Also, as I said before, it is very expensive to live here. A one bedroom apartment could easily cost you $1200, and I’m not talking about a nice place downtown. The minimum wage increase here was a rather recent trend pushed through by a socialist city council member we have who is absolutely wonderful, but now I’m straying very far off topic.
that $50 there equals to 200 here though
As I stated in my previous post, I don’t agree with the price adjustment that IMC made. It is their right to do so , however, and it doesn’t matter very much given that the game will be free in 8 days.
It does matter …for cheaper early TP for future use, but you’re right. They do have the right to do so, not that we can do anything about it.
That is a valid point, and should be addressed. I think the most fair solution would be everyone in a country that had the price raised more than 10% should get a one time coupon for 30% off a TP purchase of $100 or less…or something to that effect. This would balance everything out in the end.
I don’t think this will fix it at all. They need to bring back regional price, atleast when f2p launch since there will be no use of founder pack anymore. If not, I doubt anyone outside of first world country would even bother to spend money to get a skill reset in this game that is filled with bots while restricting every inch of the game for you.

Do you realize that developers from IMC are not living in one of those countries? Neither they’re charitable organization. They’ve made a product and they set a fixed price for their product.
If you were to sell something on ebay, let’s say something you bought for $200 from your local store (with money you worked for). You want to sell it for at least $150 because the thing is still relatively new and in good condition, so you set a fixed price of $150 for that item. Would you sell it for $40 instead of $150 just because a buyer is from Thailand? Well… maybe you would, but that’s not how business works. They need to run a company and pay salaries to a lot of staff (first world country level salaries).
I don’t know how many times I have to repeat the same thing:
DLC DID NOT INCREASE IN PRICE, they just removed the regional prices from steam in order to AVOID abuse and exploitation from RMTers, wich is a perfectly valid reason.
quoting myself so that these people can understand WHY this had to be done:
