New SP Usage is Insane

Don’t be contrary it’s not helping the cause, Squire buffs require a trash character, they last 30 minutes, have an insane cost and even then they still depend on you having good SP Recovery which has become an insanely lacking stat.

It’s not just SP either HP Recovery has been significantly lowered causing the none % pots to feel bad to. They handed out 100 * 6 store bought potions and none of them make a real difference due to lack of regen, you can lower the regen timer all you want via Squire foods, Cat buffs, and Zemyna Statue but if you have 100 SP Recovery, you get 100 SP back. Meanwhile my Guardian Saint costs about 250 SP, Restoration as well. My God Smash my most used skill is 99 * 3 every 15 seconds, which almost entirely negates my 490 SP per tick of recovery which doesn’t even happen every 20 seconds like I thought it was supposed to (More bugs IMC doesn’t care about I guess, or maybe I am just wrong about the timer in which case: WTF is that timer!) and btw I had to try really hard to get that SP recovery. I have 83 on Solmiki Necklace, and +25 from Collections.

Collections only offer like 50ish.

Ah, you remind me of the time I had 1500 HP/sec regen thanks to squire food and poata cards, good times. Sadly even then the SP version of the setup was bffft.

What combination of classes has the largest SP hunger? I wana do an expiriment

Shadowmancer / Sage / Chronomancer spamming skills and using Pass
Cataphract / Dragoon / Lancer with ugly helmet on and always recasting Acro Mount
Fletcher / Mergen / Falconer with PES enabled and spamming all skills nonstop

I’m leveling a bunch of characters and I’m having some serious SP issues. Are there any good tips to get around the high SP usage? I am starting to think I will be forced to buy a slot and make an Alchemist. :cold_sweat: I’m all for being conservative and having to think a little more instead of mindlessly spamming but I wish SP recovered just a little quicker or at least make the basic pots restore a bit more.

At what level are you and what classes do you use?

Turnoff attributes that adds +10% or more mana and are not that useful.
Select better the skills you are using in your rotation. You don’t need to use everything that is available for you.
Test how many skills are needed to kill mob and don’t use more than necessary. (I mean, i can kill most mob groups with heavy gravity+flame ground, i don’t need to waste more mana than that)

I was playing my Archer who was around 200. I was having trouble and of course as soon as I posted in this thread, I got to 220 (the next gear level) and suddenly everything is manageable again. So I guess my issue is mostly resolved, I just probably need to figure out my rotation a little better as goulartbio suggested.
