Been playing tree of savior when first released but stopped months back. I am excited to start playing again. Was hoping to meet a few friends through this topic //crosses finger .

Im sad to hear about the lack of improvements =( I really was hope-ing it would be like Ragnarok. I really enjoyed the fun community!
I didn’t quit but didn’t play either? It might be more my busy lifestyle though.
I tend to play daily religiously after work if people play with me. ^^"
Thing is, this game is becoming Tree of Solo, which you’ll hear a lot of people saying.
You can barely do daily dungeons/missions because the queues are huge. There is no real incentive for people to do stuff together. Even getting loot with the DKP system will make you wish no-one existed.
(DKP is a system where if a mob drops a very rare loot, when said mob is killed a number of times, the item will drop 100% and reset the counter. It’s an area thing so If you’re killing a mob that needs 10.000 kills to drop a very rare item and when you kill the 9.999 someone else get’s the 10thK kill, they’ll get the loot and you’ll have to kill 10k more mobs)
Class balance hasn’t improved as well. Some classes might never find parties. Swordies were forgotten and are useless unless you have Peltasta.
Pyro is useless aside from it’s high damage to mobs that don’t move.
Since you don’t like to play solo, I’m afraid I would recommend that you come back in another 3 months or so to check if the game is still up.

id say, just make a new char and see for urself. ppl in here are all about the doomsday,
but most ppl just talk poop (like ppl saying swordsman are dead, but swordies are top boss dps in kTOS with rank 8…)

I found it really difficult to find friends to talk to in game about my build =( Since I usually don’t follow meta but would also like the best possible option for my personality…

Welcome back. I think sometimes taking a break from a game is the best route to go, since usually you’ll enjoy it fully again. Hope this is the case for you. :3
I’m team Grey Knight. I see everyone arguing and just play. The game has issues, but the reason most of us are still here is we do enjoy it and want to see it improve. With rank 8 coming too, we’ll probably have some returning players. IMC is hopefully working on optimization further. Basically, try to enjoy it for what it is and stay hopeful.
The in game community on Klapedia in any case can be quite fun and friendly. I hear tell it’s the same on Tel. Remember, the forums are quite different and I know quite a few people in game who just avoid them, or even people here who have taken to simply ghost reading. Once you’re around 200 you should start looking for a guild, with the way content is right now I won’t deny it can get lonely.
