Hello everybody,
I am a new player who is interested in doing a weird(?) build as a swordsman.
My goal is to have a character that does not excel in damage or tankiness but can do both aspects well enough in PvE/PvM. Therefor I read a lot but as I said I am a new player so I don’t understand what is a must have or why something won’t work out in the end.
Let me present you my build:
SW1 - Pelt3 - Barb3 - Murm1 - Mata1 (Mata2 with R10)

My vision for this character is to lure monsters with Swash Buckling while having 100% uptime Guardian then use debuffs + warcry and kill them.
Why Pelt ?
I love Swash + Guardian combo and the debuffs in C3 fit nicely into this build - at least on paper.
Why Barb ?
Warcry and theme of the class are very appealing to me.
Why Murm ?
Increasing Pelt damage + stuns
Why Mata ?
I love the theme and look of it.
This should hopefully make crits easier and boost the dmg by quite a bit when Ole is up.
Questions:
Stats?!
2:1:1 Str:Con:Dex or Pure Str / Full Str with some Con or Pure Dex / Full Dex with some Con?!
Why is this Build bad?
Explain to me why it won’t work out or why it might work out just fine.
Also distribution of Skill points can be pointed out or changed to a more optimal / efficient way.
I am open for other build suggestions with Matador BUT I don’t like Fencer and Corsair theme-wise so if possible avoid these in your suggestions.
