I dropped an avil and he beat on it for a good couple of minutes, was also seen teleporting around the area.
this is interesting, does the anvil not lose the 3-hit hp if someone else hits it? how long will the anvil last? i guess i might waste some silver for anvils to fool these bots before reporting them

They only disappear if you hit them, or you move away from them. Otherwise they just sit there. I’ve never waited more than like 3-5 minutes though, so I’m not sure if it does eventually expire. It’s only 300 silver though. You can get that from a couple mobs after Tenet Church.
Just make sure to use your anvils on a very low level equipment to save yourself from my mistake of using anvils on my gear and letting the anvil disappear along with my silvers
