Fishing out Bots with Anvil

I’m posting this here since this is not a bot report, I’ve already reported them in-game anyway…

So in one of @Zipperz thread he mentions about using anvils to check if someone is a bot so I tried it out and voila…

it’s a bit of waste in silver since you can just visually inspect someone if he/she is a bot, but hey, fishing is fun :smiley:

now, not everyone who might try to hit your anvils will be a bot, some players just like to do that, but you can use this technique if you already suspect that the player is a bot, they will usually attack the anvil 3-4 times before leaving and it seems the botters may have programmed their bots to not attack the same target to bypass this trick but you can probably be sure that they’re a bot if they buff up before attacking your anvil

This is so old that have a white beard, and yeah, not every one that hit the anvil is a bot, some do hit for the heck of it and its just a few times, the bot hit it move a bit away and come back for a second round of hits and move away for good.

I’ve had people try to duel me to see if I’m a bot. I usually go WHAT DON’T DUEL ME I’M LEVEL 30 :sweat_smile:

What bot will accept duel? That is the stupidiest idea a player would have.

Trying to figure out a bot by duel is pretty “smart” (/sarcasm end). Like they will accept it. lol

It made a big window pop up on my screen, it was 4am at the time and I don’t know if it made me actually stop what I was doing or not. It might jumble up a script? I have no idea. I’ve never dabbled with bots. I just want to farm cafrisun set.

or they’re just the persistent and annoying “WANNA DUEL HUH WANNA DUEL? SO ARE YOU GONNA DUEL WITH ME OR YOU’RE A COWARD?” type of person…

I’ve met with that kind of person.

Team name Disgae or something, spam my windows screen with Duel invite to the point that I have to click 5-10 time NO.

Checked the Setting for “Decline Duel Invitation” but it doesn’t exist, that’s the same day I stopped playing.
