New Archer Rebalance/QOL Changes in Ktos

-Archer Branch-

Archer:
Oblique Shot – Changed to be compatible with Muskets.

Quarrel Shooter:
Demolition – Changed to be compatible with both hands

Wugushi:
Detoxify - Buff range increased by 50%
Zhendu – Buff range increased by 50%

Rouge:
Vendetta – Changed to be instant cast, increased overheat from 1 to 2
Backstab – Strike Length increased by 15%

Schwarzer Reiter:
Retreat Shot – Increase Base % and lvl up % by 1.5x times
Wild Shot - Increase Base % and lvl up % by 1.5x times, Charge time changed from 1 second to 0.5 seconds
Evasive Action – Movespeed Penalty removed, Duration changed from 20 seconds + (skill lvl * 2) to 300 seconds

Musketeer:
Butt Stroke – Strike Length increased by 15%
Bayonet Thrust – Strike Length increased by 15%

Hackapell:
Skarphuggning – Strike Width increased by 70%
Storm Bolt - Strike Length increased by 15%
Cavalry Charge - Strike Length increased by 35%

Appraiser:
Overestimate – Buff range increased by 50%

I like they’re giving a unique weapon set more attack skills to cycle through but if the reason was that it’s called oblique shot, then I’d also like to see heavy, crit, stone, flare (ect.) shot (possibly vendetta as well) also be made compatible to add more variety to the early rank builds.

Also is it just me or did archer get the least QOL changes?

Archers always be ■■■■ on PvE and PvP i waste my all time and money to build archer… Whatta waste…

You make it sound like Archers weren’t the best class in the game for most of this game’s life.

It’s only been since the nerf on critical rate/critical hits they’ve even been remotely poor.
They also have some of the best farming skills and utility skills in the game.

I won’t deny there are useless classes, but same can be said for Warrior, mage and cleric too. (Some of them being made useless after the major revamp).
If you think archers are always going to be ■■■■ then I suggest actually making a decent build then.

It’s only really a buff duration update, buff range (as if how far you can be away from a person to receive the buff) and melee attack range increase.

Hopefully we’ll get some actually balancing in a few months. Since some classes:

Catapract
Hoplite
Hunter
Scout
Krivis (Maybe?)

(About as far as i’ve got in terms of ranks) kind of need a buff. (Maybe C1 Sapper since practically the entire Sapper class is only used for the C2 skill Broom Trap)

They either lack variety in skills, lack utility, lack damage or pretty much everything to make it actually worth picking them. (Since the nerf on scout it’s pretty much a dead class.)

and Rogue C3 is still the anti-rogue circle :expressionless:

Master the ultimate skill of your class… a skill that will make all other skills on your class useless…

EDIT: also, I don’t understand that QS change at all, can someone explain :confused:

Teardown currently only works with 1 handed bows (with all varieties of sub weapons) and musket.
Changed so can be used with 2 handed bows. (Poor google translate is my guess.)
