Grinding Dina Bee is literally the slowest way to level, if anything, preventing grinding groups from being there is a community service.
That and there’s, y’know, more than 2 channels if you really want to crawl your way to 185 as slowly as possible.
edit: And this does not prevent you from questing, I’ve done several characters now with all this going on. Doesn’t even slow you down because the spawn rate on that map is so high.
18 hours = 1.5m ~ 2m (with necro)
shoggoth and skelets can be outfarmed by active players
Since you’ve pointed that out, please, do list the examples and alternatives for those poor souls unaware.
As I’ve said I’m neither in favor nor agaisnt AFK farming, so I can’t offer a solution.
Actually I recently posted a leveling guide in another thread, lemme find it.
What level are you stuck at? Are you doing missions daily? Are you doing the 175 dungeon? You will probably get stuck around 180ish, but that’s well past the point where you can get exp from Dina.
There’s an addon if you download the addon manager, it is a quest helper of sorts. When you open your quest log, there’s a “show all eligible quests” option. It will show you all the zones you can start doing. Make sure you don’t miss any. It’s very easy to miss them in this game.

Still a lot for just going AFK IMO especially for those who have limited playtime. 
This problem has actually been around forever since they changed Demon Prison. The funny part is in my iCBT2 days I actually would grind Orange Gribaru for like 1.5m-2m solo as a Sadhu and people STILL tried to camp on top of you with Temple Shooter. Then on release months ago we made a group that would do like 3m-4m or something absurd in the Demon Prison zone on trees roaming.
The actual real scum bags when I still played were the level 200+ coming back to the first demon prison clearing the whole place for gems and silver. I watched someone kill a blue mob on purpose in front of me that couldn’t even get exp on purpose. People think the forums are toxic must never see how people act in game. 
Gimme some silverrrrrrrr!

Sorc: Generally runs full out of MP every 5-6 minutes. Has to use a potion to keep it active. AFK’ing is against the TOS because they have to use a third party program to keep Temple Shooter out. I’ve seen very few legit Sorc’s in my time here. You watch their MP and it refills always at the same point. Usually around 50%.
Necros: Pet’s will generally last an hour and is NOT against the TOS. The Skeletons generally last an hour. Shogoth can last 3 or more hours if not forever. Both kill at a much slower pace then Temple Shooter. This is specially true for Slow-goth. Necro’s use Corpse Potions to re-summon. This can be as well “Macro’d”, however. Skeletons aren’t replaced unless they are dead. Hurt ones are not re-placed either. There is a cap on how much Corpses you can carry and using a Macro would/could possibly run you out of Corpses extremely fast.
Archers and the Z button: Archers, kill faster then Necros While this is in a situation of it’s owns, the “I’m holding down the Z key” bit is usually a lie. Again, setting something heavy on the key or using a Macro to continually press Z is against the TOS.
It’s very easy to see who is using third party programs with Sorc/Archers as you can mess with them through Icewall. People who aren’t afk will generally say something if you mess with them to much.
Last but not least: Dina-Bee has always been horrible EXP and even before you had massive Sorcs and Necro afk farming you had parties that would macro auto use of spells like Frost Pillar.

The reality is, someone calls the forums/community toxic while contributing to their toxicity and not actually playing the game anymore.
I suspect there are many (I never accused this person of doing this) doing the same that continue to negatively contribute to theory threads and post bad information.
My points still stand. AFK farming has no negative impact on the gameplay of others.
You must be new here. Let me tell you a little thing or two about directing people towards bad builds and toxicity. If you consider Sadhu3/Cleric3 a good build which is something majority of my posts on this forum have been about people not making, or the Paladin3/Oracle Zoo build then surely have no idea what you’re talking about.
Now before you type another word think about the text you posted and this one without circling around the logic that you’d have to think Sadhu3/Cleric3 is good for what you previously posted to be true. Otherwise the other portion of my posts are usually about topics which I’m knowledgeable about only trying to help getting some butt hurt response like yours on everything.
What this has to do with bad leveling spots and AFK farming? I don’t know maybe someone is mad they made a bad build and forced to grind slower? Who knows.
I’m one of those rare sorc/necros who rolled the class long before AFK farming out of a misguided love for terrible pet builds, and I agree that AFK farming should be stopped.
There is a very clear negative impact on the gameplay experience of normal, non-AFK farming players. There is no way to keep up with the tens of millions of silver one gets while they’re asleep from having an AFK-farming account. Silver is attributes, silver is gear, silver is power. The advantage AFK farmers have over normal players is huge and unfair. I’m an AFK farmer and I hate it for exactly that reason.
If you get serious, you leech up a couple of AFK-farming alts and leave them running 24/7. I know people who have generated hundreds of millions of legit silver this way, at practically no effort. Of course, that was before the bee farm channel nerf. You’re a fool if you do this now, because if everybody did it, each channel would have 50 necros packed into it, and no one would get anything. I firmly believe this is where we’re headed.
I think the best way to kill off AFK farming is to make pets unable to acquire new targets without user input of some kind. It doesn’t have to be some kind of pain in the ass attack this target deal, it can be something as simple as them refusing to fight after 5 seconds of no or identical user input. Then everyone would macro random user input, of course. But they’d be real easy to catch, then.
You don’t play this game, I don’t care to read what you have to say about it.

You tell me what your initial response to my post has to do with bad leveling spots and afk farming. I am not new here, but I don’t spend much of my time here. Y’know, because I’m playing the game actively.

View link and context. This whole thread is about AFK farming which is a pretty scum bag thing to do and nothing to do with me quitting yet you’re furious that I said something. Which amazingly the same thing you basically said is something I said months ago about Dina Bee Farm. So in some paradoxical world where I have no right to say something I know nothing about then you shouldn’t either because we said the thing!
