Isn’t that any game?
2 batteries, one on tab, one on 1 or whatever skill, GG
Doesn’t really matter because it’s pretty inefficient.

was testing if it was viable, it is in low level according to people
but on high levels this is the ultimate AFK
Nice catch. I never played GE, so I wouldn’t have noticed. Upon reflection, though, it makes sense.
IMC is fairly ambitious with a planned 80+ classes for ToS. And so, it really makes sense for them to revisit previously executed archetypes, game play concepts, themes, etc.
Sword and Pistol, for example, is an Age of Exploration/Adventures on the High Seas archetype when a pirate or naval serviceman needed his cutlass literally on hand after expending the single shot of his flintlock pistol. GE also explains for the various Italian and Spanish names for skills such as the Caracole, which is an actual military tactic used by horseback formations to incorporate firearms (similar but slower to the Cantabrian circle for horseback archers, but whatever). The pavise, as well, was famously used by Italian mercenaries with crossbows in these time periods. And of course, there’s the corsair.
That IMC does research on Western military history also explains many of the other classes and skills, but a lot of these aren’t directly related to GE’s themes (or even RO’s, but there are a lot of those too).
As to the similarities in character portraits, other than as a direct homage to GE, I also just think it’s a consequence of hiring the same character designer for both GE and ToS. Maggi’s style is fairly distinct in its over-flourishing detail, and so Baroque must have become an obvious preference of her. I see this as a positive, and of course I’m saying this as someone with a Maggi folder tucked away somewhere.
The most obvious class reference for me was actually Hoplite class there no denying it based on Peltast Stance of Fighter class in GE.
Peltast in GE is Javelin + Shield, the stance allows you to enjoy the benefit of equipping a shield but still has enough DPS to deal real damage via Skills that has a high chance to proc a Crit.
http://www.swordofthenewworldwiki.com/page/Peltast
Hoplite also relies on Finestra to proc a crit during skill usage (supposing build is low DEX) while giving an option aswell for the class to equip a shield.
I didn’t bother grinding anyway since all data would be wipe in a few days, so I didn’t really feel the complaint on low EXP rate other were complaining about. The problem was the main quest progress was too fast and I end up going to the next main quest under leveled. I didn’t know where the repeatable quests were for me to grind EXP cards.
I dont like if the game is turning into exp card hunting in future
Whaat? Korean MMO? Without gacha? It’s not Korean then xD Joking.
Anyway I played GE for like 20 lelevs at RU server (when it’s only opened or something?) and looking at screens UI is veeeeery alike. Naming system works better is GE since you as 3 characters usually.
Also tried to replay GE on EU and oh boy controls feel clumsy… Or maybe it’s just because they changed the noob quests…
and oh boy controls feel clumsy
what controls? all you do is press spacebar
I dont like if the game is turning into exp card hunting in future confounded
SOP procedure during the release of in GE, though its easier there since you can AFK level
what controls? all you do is press spacebar
Well, till I remember there is auto pilot running around was clumsy to me x)
spacebar - autoattack/heal
ctrl+shift+left click - loot
ctrl+left click - attack everything while goint to that location
F8 - solo command
F9 - team command

Why is the topic named “Karjalainen” ?
I browsed through it and i didn’t see any emphasis rather than stating that she’s your favorite character.
I understand your comparison but my overall expression is that you’re just trying to make your name or yourself popular lol.
I guess i just forgot about those. Ty fo reminding me.
I like default gun lady(Musketeer i believe?).
Lol I thought you were finnish because of your name…
musk pretty much basic, even with outrage shot they can rip out boss HP with proper equipment, with unlimited shot they pretty are
Having played both GE and RO, I can agree in that the soundtrack has elements of both games.
The most notable case would be Rondo of Tedium which is a modified version of Christmas In The 13th Month from RO.
I also agree with you that ToS shares a lot of things in common with GE, which you listed, but some of the things you listed are universal anyway and some of them/other features are also present in RO (sit with insert, job level, etc etc etc)
I’m not trying to bash you but it feels like you are trying to say that the game was based much more on GE than in RO, which is not true, though it is true it takes elements from both games.
It’s pretty bad even for low levels, considering you can take on much higher mobs and gain much faster exp, even if you afk’d all night.
Also Bokor zombies die, and you can’t afk with 1 button.
To resummon you need to drop a field down and kill monsters in that field fairly quickly, and then to make the zombies actually be any kind of efficient, you need to use flag skills.
That’s zombies AFk leveling.
RO Alchemist Homucli Afk Leveling Enhanced xD.
Summon a mob of zombies.
Eat Pizza.
Have 5% more exp XD.
Cant see it effective sith the exp given.
Just try other class with dps
hello fellow RO and GE Players!!
they already nerfed the zombies btw that was CBT2 video i believe
