To help with a lot of potential solutions they could probably implement something like MapleStory did a long time ago.
Make it so if you stand still and just have Z being held down, after about 100 successive attacks in place, you’d stop being able to attack until you move around a bit.
It doesn’t really harm actual players since most of the time people tend to move and not stay stationary, but it would help curb people who are just having something weight down there Z key, and actual potential botters.
