I recently played an archer3/hunter2/falc1, dex based build, pve focus, planning to go falc3…
But i stopped this char, cause the hunter pet bug almost all time, so i had the impression to spend two ranks into trash…
Now i want to do still the falc3, but with the sapper instead of hunter
so i’m thinking on two builds:
arc2/sapper3/falc3
arc3/sapp2/falc3
does anyone tried one of those?
anyways i want know wich stats scales best with boom trap, dex or str?

I play ar3>sap2>falcon1>cannon1 not your build, but close to to your build
Str scale better for broom trap because the skill is multi hit low base dmg
I prefer Ar3>sap2 than Ar2>sap3 because you get more hit for multishot, more evade from swiftstep and twin arrow as filler skill, while sap3 got you more dmg from broomtrap, IMO collar bomb(can’t detonate when use at single target) and spike trap(long cast time and need to get the target close to get many hits) are a bit situational.
PS beware most sapper skills dmg fall off late game
Thanks frontier, maybe it fall, but i think it’s still better than hunter cause pet bugs a lot…
