Need good AoE and at the same time DPS & Boss Killer

Hello again… im thinking to make new char before Get Ahead event end… i would like to create an archer class that have really good AoE and at the same time high DPS for solo tough mobs. i’ve already search in the internet but i doubt maybe the build is outdated. can anyone suggest a build like above.

im thinking for Arch1>Ranger3>Flet2>SweRei>2
but still… it doubt me alot because i never have experience with archer skill set before. so can’t tell if it working.

and i want to know best Musket built (if can, i wuld like to know if musket is good with Hunter)

that mean two request, one for AoE DPS, and one is Musket (Boss Killer)
if can, i want a appraiser inclued, if not then there is no problem
i want to know the current working build.thanks in advance

Feltcher and Sr doesn’t have sinergy. They are all in classes i.e c3 or nothing. Dps archers are in bad spot atm, doppel can outdps them easy.

this build has been tested at 40F solmiki

If we use Doppel to compare if a class is viable or not in DPS then have no point in playing anything other than Doppel or Murmillo…

Anyway, for the your question maybe Archer 2 - Sapper 2 - Fletcher 3 - Mergen would be what you want, or you could do Archer 2 - Ranger - Scout - Fletcher 3 - Mergen but that lose the AoE from Broom Trap.

For Musketeer you could try Archer 2 - Sapper 3 - Appraiser - Musketeer 2 if you want to include Appraiser or Archer 2 - Ranger - Wugushi 3 - Musketeer 2 if you don’t want Sapper.

And about Hunter… well it works with Musketeer… but right now the Hunter class is in pretty bad shape.

If you’re trying to get all of them you’re probably going to have a bad time in that you won’t be all in for any of them specifically.

I find the easiest way is to just consider the builds like components for what you’re getting, and you will usually aim to not back track, (i.e. if QS3 is Rank2->4 don’t get it Rank 4->6)

Fletcher and SR is a terrible combination, but to go over some basics here:

Rank 1/Archer

C1: Because something else is better R2
C2: Swift Step crit attribute
C3: Kneeling Step, full DEX ; WIth soon to come update, Swift Step for MORE crit rate

Quarrel Shooter
C1: Stone Shot stun, Pavise for gathering mobs, not really a PvE choice
C2: Never do this
C3: Running Shot
Ranger
C1: Steady Aim, some good AoE skills, easy leveling (great filler)
C2: Same reasons
C3: Maximimizing steady aim, if you’ve got a character who won’t need more skills in their rotation (SR3, Fletcher3 largely) this means more raw damage output

Sapper
C1: Never do this, you’ll get more out of other filler class
C2: Broom Trap
C3: Broom Trap attribute, more AoE damage
Hunter
For PvE this has never been recommended

Wugushi
C1-C3: Good filler class if you want DoTs to apply, rank is amount of filler, the thing is you will almost always get more out of 2-3 ranks of Sapper than 2-3 ranks of Wugushi it feels, so generally it’s a 1 rank filler.
Scout
C1:Cloaking (PvP, bonus damage), Fluflu
C2:Never do this, PD is mostly trash it seems
C3:Split Arrow, nerfed hard so hardly worth it anymore, but a possiblitiy

Rogue
C1:Sneak Hit, don’t bother with it if you don’t have the mobility to stay behind them
C2:more Sneak Hit, Lach
C3:more Sneak Hit, synergy with Hackapell
Fletcher
C1:Never do this.
C2:Perma-bleed, but never do this ,go all the way or don’t
C3:Large sustained damage from combination of attacks, but can cost time/silver crafting arrows.
Appraiser
C1:Overestimate’s Subweapon buff, Blindside nuke is useful but not build worthy over some other choices or C2’ing some previous choices

Rank 6

Schwarzer Reiter
C1: Never do this
C2: Never do this
C3: Limacon(now 100% uptime)+Retreat Shot, you will center yourself around this.
Falconer
C1:Circling ADR-5,
C2: Never do this
C3:Circling attribute, Aiming, very very nice support to anyone based around AAR

Cannoneer
C1:Never do this, forces weapon so you should go all in. Also Bazooka or Kneeling is core to cannons
C2:High damage from skills (CON: weapon/subweapon)
Musketeer
C1:Never do this. Forces weapon so you should go all in.
C2:High damage, I don’t know quite enough about Musketeers to give more than that.

Rank 8

Hackapell
C1:We’ll see what R9/10 have for us, but largely damage.
Mergen
C1:AoE damage

Anything Rank 6 and above is build defining in that you are taking it to the end of your build in almost.

Everything before then I grab based on what I see, I usually start with the end of the build (R5+) and work my way down from there with priority to some classes that are amazing for early classes (QS3 if I’ll be an AAer that’s not SR3, Sapper 2/3 if I’ll need more AoE, Archer2 if I’ll benefit heavily from the crit rate).
