These changes have been compiled as a result of reading various feedback threads on Necromancer complaints as well as obtaining testimony from necromancer players. These changes do not reflect necessary AI tweaks and improvements that are universally accepted as being needed for all summon-based classes. Thank you for reading.
General:
- Shoggoth should have a different appearance based on what card was used to summon it.
Class Attributes:
- ADD - [Harvest]: 1 attribute level - available as C1 necromancer. Enemies slain in the vicinity of the Necromancer (range 150) will add corpse stacks for the necromancer. One corpse per death.
- ADD - [Black Soil]: 1 attribute level - available as C2 necromancer. The Necromancer periodically scans the Earth for traces of the dead. Every minute the Necromancer will generate 5 corpse stacks, up to the maximum.
Skills:
- CHANGE - [Gather Corpse]: Also grants corpses if the enemy dies within 5 seconds of being hit by Gather Corpse. Animation time is now faster.
- CHANGE - [Create Shoggoth]: Cooldown reduced to 60 seconds to match similar skills of other classes.
- CHANGE - [Dirty Pole]: Can now be cast at a range with a ground-target reticle.
- CHANGE - [Corpse Tower]: Can now be cast a range with a ground-target reticle.
- CHANGE - [Raise Dead]: Skeletons now also get additional damage based on INT, and additional HP based on SPR.
- REMOVE - [Disinter]: No longer needed due to addition of Harvest.
- ADD - [Summon Legion]: 1 point. 30 second cooldown. 0 SP cost. Any active summons on the map (specifically Skeletons & Shoggoth) will be teleported to the Necromancers location. They will not be able to attack or receive damage for 5 seconds after summoning.
- ADD - [Call of the Void]: 1 point. 30 second cooldown. 0 SP cost. De-summon any active summons (specifically Skeletons & Shoggoth) on the map. If Shoggoth had over 50% HP when âcalledâ, the cooldown will be reduced by 1/2. If over half of the Skeletons were still alive, the cooldown of Raise Dead will be reduced by 1/2.
Skill Attributes:
- ADD - [Gather Corpse - Hunger]: 4 attribute levels - available as C2 necromancer. For each enemy slain with Gather Corpse, gain 1 extra corpse charge per attribute level (i.e. 5 corpses for level 4 Hunger)
- REMOVE - [Disinter - Increased Range]: No longer needed due to superior nature of Harvest.
- ADD - [Raise Dead - Cannibalize]: 1 attribute levels -a vailable as C2 necromancer. When casting âRaise Deadâ, if there are any Skeletons on the map present, they will return to the earth. The necromancer will be healed for 2% of their HP per skeleton consumed in this way.
- CHANGE - [Create Shoggoth - Enlargement]: No longer a chance at improvement. Now has 5 attribute levels. Increases the max HP and size of Shoggoth by 4% per attribute level (max 20%).
