My Top Negative Feedback

( see BOLDED for a fast recap rather then reading

I wanted to recap some feedback from my experience playing this game rather it be beneficial to the development or not.

Firstly i had 1 level 200 and 5 level 150ish characters.

Overall it was a enjoyable experience.
The larger “flaws or downsides” i would say are gameplay related, Bugs are Bugs, however most of my negative moments in the game were due to design decisions.

1. No Shared Stash - I find it crazy that you have to create a entire character, and level it up just to make potions, or repair armor, roast gems, or create guilds, Instead of doing the regular (boring) crafting system like most games. You created a way to make the (boring) crafting, into a even larger chore by making us level up a alt character to even do it. More over. Its crazy that after my ALT money maker class is made There is no viable way to transfer the money or items he procures to a different character. How dumb is that. You have to trust a stranger to transfer your items or money. Or put something on the Market for 1 dollar and buy it from your alt character praying noone else snabs it up. poorly thought out IMO.

2. Enemy AI, You can kill 99% of the mobs in the game, By auto attacking while jump back and forth and it will never hit you… ever… or just run in circles… turn use a skill… rinse repeat. It gets VERY old VERY quickly.

3. Boss Fights, More like. large HP pool trash fight. Just because you enlarge a monsters frame. and make him AOE attack instead of Single target attack, Does not make it fun or challenging, it makes it boring a time sink thats not worth it.

4. Jumping, I dont know why, But us MMO players love to jump… just is what it is. However. around about 50% of the bossfights or instanced quest fights, have some** sort of terrain that you can jump on. that the enemy cant. and u can just AFK auto attack to victor**y. Or as stated before. If you jump in a direction and hit attack immediatly (works best for melee class) you basically move while slashing, which makes the horrible AI just attack the wrong direction and miss constantly. It seems as if they think you are in the position you jumped from, So they swing at that. When in reality your hitbox is behind them. So spamming jump and attack you are godlike.

5. No thief type class, I feel classes like Sapper, Rogue, Shinobi, these should fall under their own class tree, Making a 2 handing or shield buff warrior then having a alt class be a ninja type character just seems dumb.

6. Level 600 and class rank, I feel the game has no choice but to offer stat reset scrolls and in most cases skill reset scrolls, Leveling 1-200, its very apparent after reaching 200, you had 2 choices. 1. Pick stats and skills that benefit at the time for faster leveling and ease of playing, But late game are useless and or ruin your overall success. 2. Pick skills and stats that will benefit your max rank class and play style, and have a HORRIBLE time playing the game up to max. just 2 kinda negative options. Some classes can pull it off either way. some cant. I.e. full STR Barb who wants to go shinobi/fencer and such.

7. Attributes: Is it cool i cant make my blessing 200% better ?? yes it is. Is it cool or fun that it costs TONS at high levels?? ehh doesnt really matter. Is it cool that i spent 30% of my play time AFK while leveling these skills??? no not at all. I get it you dont have to AFK to level skills. But I do… because i want to level them up. and this is the route you chose for us to follow. the shorter ones are really dumb. Like 5 min. 1min. 18 min i think i saw. I dont want to come back to town every 5 min on the dot to level a skill. Typically in a 5 hour play cycle i hit town maybe twice. its just not a effective or fun way to level up skills.

I feel these are my top 7 complaints… the game was what i expected for a beta, all bugs aside these top issues most likely will prevent me from enjoying a full release, theres much more things i would like different, but the game is to please the masses not myself.

thanks

again no response needed forum was for feedback this is mine. I wont reply to thread, just using this forum for what its made for.

thanks agin

1-7: Had exactly the same expierence. +1

Especially about 1. I was really suprised that the warehouse wasn’t for all characters.
Suggestion if IMC reads this:
How about 2 tabs? Character and Lodge warehouse. Everything that isn’t character bound should be able to be placed in the lodge warehouse, especially silver.
Then probably it will be because of equipment potential. Well it’s fine to lose 1 potential buying something from someone else instead of farming it oneself. But it feels stupid to buy 5 Arde Dagger or upgrade these or throw our “old” equipment away. We worked for it and should be able to use it on every own char which is suited for it.

you dont have to. You can just setup buy-in shop in secluded part of city/channel, come there with another char and transfer materials and or silver that way.

that’s exactly my complaint. you have to do some shady weird Hide your shop and buy your own goods. That’s just dumb.

If a game makes you take ANY RISK at all to transfer your own money or goods between your characters there’s a problem.

+1 from 1 to 7. I think those are the exact negatives this game has right now and It would become so much better once addressed.

I agree completely with points 1-4, 6, 7. Especially points 1 and 7 - these were clearly design decisions and I feel like the decisions are detrimental to the gaming experience. Points 2-4 and 6 may just be bugs/balancing issues - but should still definitely be fixed.

I see #5 being suggested quite a lot on the forums, but I personally don’t agree that it is needed.

Ahh the smell of thief scrubs crying in the morning. There are enough thief style classes in archer and swordsman its fine but other then that i agree with most of your points.

I actually 100% hate theif classes and don’t like agi or crit build characters at all.

I appreciate your feedback however no one is crying. It just feels to be better suited if a theif class tree was available.

Your comment was my point exactly. There are typical (theif related) classes mixed into other trees. Where they can be arguably discussed they belong or don’t. But I feel there would be greater customization and it makes more sense to have a seperate tree. For players who want to play that style of classes it makes more sense to have a tree to represent them. Rather then playing. Warrior style classes that turn into theif related later.

Thanks tho

■■■■. I hate the wait times on attribute leveling. >.> You are are already making us spend so much money which we spent a lot of time earning. and again you want us to wait to get our skill upgrade

I agree with everything, except the thief class, I don’t really care about it, I’m pretty much satisfied with the classes.

  1. No Shared Stash: agree, we need shared stash.
  2. Enemy AI: most of skills cant use while jump, some maps have strong ranger mob like : hogma seacher, lizardman mage. All u need is kill it faster not keep jumping n auto atk.
  3. Boss Fights: boring? try go solo with DG same ur lv
  4. Jumping: this trick doesnt work with all class. ex: if monk class use jump n 2p at same time, this will be worst.
  5. No thief type class: shinobi for swordman, rouge, scout for archer. Do u want thief class at wizard n cleric tree class
  6. Level 600 and class rank: more harder more stronger. This is Rule the World.
  7. Attributes: u can do sub-Q while learing attributes. When u fn sub-Q, dont use backspace fast, just use tp, go back city for learning more attributes and backspace after that.

I don’t know what your mean by solo with dg?? I solod all the way to 200??? I don’t know what a dg is

And yes… Jumping doesn’t work with all classes??? What’s your point exactly??? It works with most melee and non Mage … Sooo they get a advantage…

I think you took the thief class thing wrong… No I don’t want a thief wizard… I don’t want a shinobi in my warrior tree and I don’t want a rogue in my archer tree is what I was getting at …

And again… Yes I know… You can do a attribute and go do a quest and teleport back to town… The point was it takes away from the experience to be making pointless trips to start new attributes … I don’t need to go to town every 2 min or 18 min or 30 min typically only every couple of hours.

I appreciate your feedback but I think you missed the point. you kinda just took my feedback and stated the obvious… So I can’t tell if you are agreeing??? Or disagreeing??? Or trolling??? Heh

Thanks for the feedback regardless I guess

You’re mostly right.
It was surprising (in the worst way) when I noticed that I couldn’t share my items with my other characters. It makes no sense, it’s annoying and it should be fixed… I hope.
And about the thief class, that was a little annoying too, now that I think about. I was so hype with the entire swordie tree (so many options, my goddess), that I didn’t really care about the absence of the fifth class… But right now I don’t think that will change. The game was made this way.
