I believe it’s battlebird that has HP/SP recovery making it the best one if so.
As SR you’ll mainly Limacon haha. Pick whatever you can afford… Rocksodon for luxury (+hp). SP pots (you use GM anyway) are mostly enough for skills’ sp usage (well for me)

Sorry for reviving this old topic, but lately I’ve reset my Reiter. I honestly didn’t like the appraiser part. The build I’m going with now is:
But that’s not the problem. I’m kinda stuck with stat distribution. I tried the 200dex/rest str but I didn’t really feel that aspd that much… Or maybe I’m weird. But now I know that dex can mean total, not invested. For now I have Eastern Leather set + xbow & Manamana prepared. Also what I posted on other thread yesterday:
"Hey, I’m kinda having problems with my stat ratio. For now I’m going for 2dex:1str. When I typed //ping (in Crystal Mine 1f with 2 ppl on the channel) the value I got was 0.093750. Is that good or bad? Should I switch to 1:1 ratio?"

i have ar2-rang3-sr3 with full dex build,it work for me but i wont recommend it for u. What the other people said b4 was right.
U said u have around 200 dex n ur ping is way better than mine too.If u want more dex,get from ellaganos card or just put another 20 in,dont go too much. Becoz from my experience,low str=low dmg output. If u still want it,then u end up needing expensive gear,high trans/enhance.
My conclusion is that,if u r building it for PvP,go full dex with high end gears(solmik+trans10 on weapon)
But if building for farming purpose, u go high str n just enuf dex to reach high attacking speed according to ur usual ping.(just need cheap gear n low lvl trans weapon)
im also new to this SR business,dont take my opinion too serious,ask more people in ur server too if u can.
*btw,my sr hit 3-4 times in 1sec,my ping is really bad,other people hit more,reaching 6 times
Well, I never liked to PvP anyway so my focus is farming.
I guess that I should go 1:1 str/dex and put all bonus points in str. According to stat calculator this is how it’d look like at lv 330:
I heard you can get total of 35 bonus points so I went with that.
But I still’d like a confirmation from other people.
PS: How do I tell if my ping is good? I type the //ping command in chat bar but I don’t understand if my value is good or bad… Can someone please give me a range so I can tell?
if your ping below 0.08 then it is fast. cmiiw, 1.0 is 1 second delay

Sorry for another revive, but I’m kinda conflicted about skills: Retreat shot is awkward as hell to use and I honestly would prefer to put these points instead into Wild Shot 10 and Caracole 15. Seeing as soon I’ll be getting a free skill reset potion, any opinion on this?
Maan, Limacon after patch is even more glorious since I don’t have to renew the buff every other minute… Saying that, I have a couple more questions:
- I guess I can use 3 Glass Mole cards, any recommendations for the remaining 9?
- Should I still go full DEX? I still have a stat reset pending.
- Since we get a free rank reset from adventure journal rewards, how should I remodel my Reiter? I’ve noticed that when you hit SR basically all you do is auto-attack with Limacon anyway.
Archer C3 - for Swift Step attribute, now lasts 5 minutes (wee, another no-spam)
Ranger - I really, REALLY never use Steady Aim at all. 10 seconds is nothing and I can’t even feel the effect, even at skill lv15. And ranger skills become useless after rank 6.
Wugushi C2 - tempting choice because additionally to auto-attack I’ll be able to degen the monster. The only downside is that poison scales with str so it’s gonna be weak on a full dex character.
Appraiser - the quest is a real pain in the bum to do, and constantly reapplying the Overestimate buff every minute is a pain to do too. Good choice, but a pain to achieve.
What I came up with is something like this:
At Reiter C3 I still waver between maxing Caracaole and Retreat Shot. I rarely use the latter, but the same goes for the former… Maybe put these 5 points into Evasive Action since they removed the movement speed penalty and increased duration? XD

In that link I have my own build, ignore the high anchoring skill point on ranger and put the remaining point on time bomb if you want. There’s absolutely no reason for you to max out oblique, the skill is useless. Wild shot is also useless. Heavy shot is also a great skill as it gives you 50% more damage to plate armor target. Very cheap to attribute to 100 (21m). As you become an SR, most of your damage comes from Limacon/Retreat shot with glass moles. If you happen to glass mole twice, which happens often when you’re fighting bosses, then you have the last remaining 2-3 seconds to use spiral arrow and barrage, which does more burst damage after your retreat shot rotation ends. Put max points on Full Draw. Full Draw is a really good skill, and also effective in ET and in PVP.
I went Full DEX because of my full Solmiki leather, but before I was 1/1 STR and DEX with Manahas set and Sissels. I’m going appraiser for my build, now, since it favors my pistol and I would like to try out blindside 100. Will update you once I get that ready. Evasive action is trash, don’t put any points into it. Unless you’re a c3 rogue, which you won’t, you’re not going to gain any benefits off of evasive action. That, and evasion has a hard cap. I have over 800+ evasion and I only dodge 30% of hits taken.
Here I use both SR + Ranger skills in action, with my party getting Rank 1

But one last thing - what about the cards? With the latest change, I can only have 3 Glass Moles and 3 Ellaganos. What should be the remaining 6? I read the updated list and the choices I’m considering are:
Red: 3x Glass Mole
Blue: 3x (Denoptic: Magic defense +[★*10]) or (Nuaele: Magic defense +[★]%) idk which’s better
Green: 3 x Ellaganos
Purple:3x of either:
Lepus: Attack speed +[★] when equipping one-handed weapons
Marnox: Critical attack +[★ * 1.5]
If there are better choices please let me know.

My headgears have very high crit and phys attacks combined on my twitch notes
Gazing Golem… While I do admit that Pain Barrier is awesome, just lv1 of it (15 secs) doesn’t seem worthy to me. I’d much rather have higher attack speed or increased crit damage.
But at card lv 10 I don’t know which of these 2 would be better: to have a total of 30 aspd or +31.5 crit attack.
You’re underestimating the duration, every time you get hit, it will always refresh. During world bosses I ALWAYS have pain barrier effect. That’s how powerful it is.

PS what gems did you use on your equipment?
Reds on gun because it will stack with glass mole + your xbow and gun damage.
Green because of crit on xbow. I don’t need reds on there because I don’t want max attack.

It’s crit rate, which applies to everything. And you always go leather. I chose manahas set until I got my hands on solmiki leather.
What addon is that where there are red dots on your minimap indicating enemies?
