My idea for reduce Inflation and bot in TOS

The first I’m sorry my bad english. english not my native but I have some idea need to tell you.

I recomment TOS should have “Grab System”
Grab System is character action pick item from floor with yourself

  • you can hold buttom for pick item all item around your character

If you need reduce bot farming gold. stop drop silver from monster and drop only metarial. If player need silver sell them for silver only.

  1. bot need pick material item for silver.
  2. bot can overload weight and waste time back to city for sell material.
  3. pardoner “Oblation” skill is very useful.

you can give money to player with quest or daily quest. that daily quest make more popular. (reward from daily quest player can choose one EXP Ticket or Silver)

For Addition
IMC can make “Bag” item for drop from monster or sell in cash shop.

  • “Bag” item require one equipment slot (maybe sub weapon or accessory)
  • “Bag” give extra weight in inventory character.
  • “Bag” have various lv and rank color
  • If you need carry a lot of potion pot. you need “Bag” in equipment slot and you will sacrifice status or dmg for weight.

That would be changing the whole game mechanism.

A simpler way and elegance way would be “Player Clearance for the Current Map”. This is checking the players quest status and adventure index when player entered the map. If the player happens to done all the quests (from previous map), he/she is free to grind at the map for certain hours before checking mechanism pops out (i will explain mine). Else, if certain players rush the game without doing any quest, he/she still able to proceed to the map given checking process will be occurring for every 30 minutes or so.

As for checking system, an easier solution would be a certain thing flashing at screen at random spot (like a star) and player would need to click it within 15 seconds in order to disable captcha entering. This would be disable when player is in “engagement” mode with monster. Of course, if checking system flashes and player choose to ignore it, a captcha would pop out and player is required to enter within 2 minutes. Else striking system would be deployed ( I prefer 3 striking grants a permanent ban from the game).

As for passing checking systems, small exp boost would be granted such as 5% - 10% for 5 minutes. More exp would not be suggested as this will encourage player to exploit the map clearance and checking system.

Map clearance would make clean players convenience for grinding while the rush players still enjoy small exp boost to speed up their process. As for bot, unless they go for pattern recognition and image processing, else they cant analyze the checking flashing thing appear on the screen.

Well, everything i mentioned here is just a speculation, implementation would require further investigation how well it against bot. Anway, game play slowly is improving for sure, hoping IMC would do more on the bots.
