I downloaded the game via Steam, double-clicked and it just hung at the starting window. I right-clicked the icon to check the status and it was in Korean so I could not read it. After several minutes the game started; I can only assume it was updating but had no indication of such.
Upon starting, immediately I noticed that it did not honor my Windows 10 mouse settings (I am left-handed and use a left-handed Naga but swap the buttons to a normal layout). That’s not so bad, I know some games have their own thing. Unfortunately, there is no way in the game to change it.
I can live with it. So, I then figured I’d rebind the keys… I.e. set the jump to the keypad, A to 1 so I can use the Naga buttons and attack from Z to right CTRL. I did that and went off for my first quest and battle. First thing I noticed, the CTRL bind did not work even though the UI did not complain and I had to revert to Z. Second thing I noticed was an insane amount of lag (N. America server K something) and rubberbanding so I couldn’t understand what was going on. After that experience I figured I’d just set all key bindings back to the default for now.
However, I found another issue… if you set a hotbar key to a different value, the hotbar icon correctly updates say from “A” to “1”. If you set the defaults back, it goes back to “A” operationally but says “1”. It only changes back if you go back in, set it to some random value and set it back again.
So… those were my first 5 minutes of playing the game. The graphics and sound were beautiful, but I can’t play a game with this lag and the bugs :-(. Hopefully someday it’ll get more polished because I love the concept. Hope this helps you guys fix some of the basic issues.
