1 - CTB. The connections is being worked and optimized and there is absolutely no way to foresee how it will work with 150k players, just wait until they stabilize it. Complaing about this a waste of time now.
2 - I have no issue with targeting, although i really dislike the default key/joystick setup and the fact that the game don’t have a interface to edit it. (you have either to manually edit the files or use a 3rd party too to do that)
3 - as a person that plays at 30-40 fps, it just feels wrong someone complaing about playing at 67… [ insert “first world problems” meme here].
4 - Except by the lag (read 1) people around the npc is not a issue, you just need to hit the spacebar to talk with a npc.
5 - My main issue with the UI is the font size. But more customization is always welcome.
6 - It’s intentional, some people likes, some people dislikes, it’s a matter of taste. (taste is something personal, let’s not dicuss that) In my case i really dislike when all quest are spoonfeed with several indicators for them. The only one that needs it is the main quest. Optional quests being hidden feels better for me.
7 - This is a issue, but this “first hit” rule is not the best solution for this.
1#2 your typical BETA issues, nothing to worry about actually
#6 I absolutely dissagree, I think it’s perfect like this. Obvious/main quests are noticeable, the rest remain better “hidden”, it makes the game more interesting
#7 I agree somenthing must change, stealing mobs and drops is tooo far easy righ now
About the 6th, I actually find it cool. Cause you have to explore in order to find quests. The main Quest always has a flag, so I guess it is fine as it is, for me at least.
About the 3th, it really bugs me. FPS is really low even if you play on a high spec pc. The curious thing about it is that when I’m streaming the game from another computer I get 130 FPS, but when I’m playing on that computer FPS stucks on 60.
About the bugs, man there are so many, I hope they fix them before launching the game.
for #7 i’ll just spam first hit then leave to other player’s grind for me.
All 3 of those games are copletely irrelevant to ToS the only thing in common is the point of view of the character in my opinion.
6 I think it’s really good if the player can’t know who’s gonna give him a quest, you have to explore to help people in the world. It’s way better than most of the MMO because it allows you to get a little bit of liberty and communication with other players.
7 No, just a feature that allow everyone who dealt 5/10% of mob HP to have xp. A GW2 system would be really great : it’s not frustrating and it doesn’t break the game anyway.

I’ve never been kicked out of a channel like that. The latency and such is a problem but that’s part of the point of the open stress test.
-
There is one + you should get good
-
I’ve had up to 300fps in some maps and my gpu is a pretty old 670 by this point. I only get low fighting world bosses or being in very populated maps
-
Don’t click, use space.
-
Yeah probably. I’d like to scale some parts down myself but at least I can hide chat and the map and such
-
No, piss off. Learn to talk to npcs and read what they have to say instead of looking for the exp flags.
-
Leads to abuse of people running by and just tagging everything. KSing barbs are a problem but this is not a solution.
Can some of you please stop with the rude responses?
with # 6 No thanks. People need to learn how to explore and use their brains. Honestly, its not that hard to spot them. The “hidden quests” arent even that hidden either.
The whole telling people the available quests balbalbla tunnel sights players. The maps are stupidly linear already, this is just adding to it.
I agree with everything else : P
Yeah some of these responses are kinda douchey. I mean its cool to tell someone your opposing thoughts but at least be respectful.
6 is intentional … adds skill into lvling up , IF you want to quest you gotta talk to npcs as easy as that. I personally LOVE it that it does not indicate side-quests.
At least when you find yourself stuck in high lvl area you will maybe for once be forced to explore instead of rushing along a linear path , having your hand held every step of the way.
Don’t worry. I don’t think they intent to be mean, it is just that sometimes people put their opinion in a way that seems aggressive to others.
If u dont like tree of savior hmm… just give me your account or key and everything will be fine
I seriously hate how all the fanboy goes full protection mode and asked anyone to leave the game when anyone gave suggestion on why they are disappointed in the game.
It’s a CBT ffs, it’s here so that IMC can fix the problem before it goes live, and people gave suggestions because they care about the game. If you disagree, just give your arguments, what is the point of bashing the suggester? Aim at the point, not at the person.
The only topic anyone says anything remotely close to “bashing” over is the “plz give quest npcs flags/icons/etc”
It’s not needed and encourages a themepark playstyle which this game is not. You people also need to stop forming a hug box the second anyone says something opposing what was originally said, jesus christ.
I wasn’t referring to you though, even if you did asked people to piss off.
Actually, they didn’t. They had to ask Steam for a second batch of keys just a couple days before beta becuase they didn’t expect nearly this many people to play.
That explains most of the lag, connection errors and other related issues.
As for fps, I’m actually surprised. Even though I knew framerates could go way above 60, I didnt know there were people who can notice (other than by looking at the number). But aren’t framerate drops to be expected on pretty much any game?
As for quests, I like them the way they are now, it rewards exploring and doesn’t clutter your map. It would be different if maps were very open/intrincate or NPCs had nothing but copypasted dialogue.
Although I’d also ask for more carefuly designed NPCs, I’ve skipped a few because I couldn’t notice them against the background, or because they were hidden under a tree.
