Musketeer Skills using 2H Bow and vice versa

Can I use Musketeer skills using 2H bow and Archer skills using Musket? I saw a video where a Musketeer using a 2H bow used Snipe on a mob. And I saw a Musketeer using a Musket and all skills (including archer skills) are lit up. And I saw another video of a Musketeer showcasing skills but the skills of other classes are blacked out. Can someone confirm this because I am making my build and I want to be a Musketeer but the weapon restricion I saw from one of the said videos stops me from choosing that path.

Yes. That one. I didn’t see the swap panels change places. Is it automatically switched by using Snipe? Because I looked closely and it only changed to musket as soon as it fired. And I think that’s only for skill animation purpose.

But isn’t it that when you swap weapons, the swap panels change position?

Automatic Weapon Swap for skill usage doesn’t bother to switch the weapons on the lower thing because it just pops them as long as the skill is being used anyways.
Is it intentional?

Ok. Thanks for clearing that up. I really wanted to choose Musketeer but I fear that I will have trouble having 2 weapons. Do Muskets suffer from damage penalty too?

It is still damages as a Missile type if that’s what you are asking about.

That damage penalty scks lol. Is 2h bow and Crossbow+Cannon close in terms of damage? I’m planning to go cannoneer just because I can use all my skills without a problem.

Muskets are a class for itself.
And none of the skills say Works with muskets (yet) but it does say works with x + cannons.

Atm… it decreased alot.

Previously you needed a +10 bow to be around this level.
HAving 45% or so reduction at times with a +0 bow xD…

But as people couldn’t get that straight… imc took that out. Making archer class ^^ really powerfull, even with the now sweet 10~15% reduction.

iirc the 10% is on L Monsters and 15% on XL (aka bosses) Monsters to be precise.

@engr.cjmartin Well, the damge of a Muskteer would overall be higuer simple because of the superior scaling and multihits overall, BUT Cannoneer has plenty more AoE making it superior at the time of mobing overall (Although Peltasta/Linker does fix Musketeer issues).
Cannoneer is a very competent and powerful class anyways, no need to ask for which one does more damage but rather which one brings what you want to have.

If the auto switch is really a thing, then it won’t be a hindrance to me to choose musketeer because I wouldn’t think of switching weapons between each skills. But I am still considering being a Cannoneer, one of the reason is that I only need to have 1 set of equipment.

I will go cannoner. (Archer2>Sapper2>Archer3>Falconer>Cannoner)

A good siege attack for gvg and pvp fun.

It’s spamable skills with good dps.

And lastly but not the least.
YOU get a bonus damage on your skills (cannoners) with a high atk cannon.
Atleast that is what was written in patch note… but not how much… per atk.

Ohh and Armor break status spam on that one skill xD.

Or should I just remove Archer2 and go Scout+Falconer? Is Falconer any better now? When I played iCBT, their skills have long cds.

Still long cd.

Hovering is up for 19 seconds.
And circling for 10.
Then you can put it hovering nearly again.

So you can interchange these two.

But circling is just so good xD.
Multishot deals True AOE damage if you have atleast 1 AOE atk ratio from equip, to any mobs with reduced AOE ratio. (Sometimes they resits it, if they have lots of spr lategame. Sometimes.)

But if you want to pvp, scout helps alot.
Ranger 3 is good too.
At the end, it’s your build. And you need to like it xD.

I really want to be a Falconer during the iCBT. But the long cd of skills before wasn’t really what I expected.

Maybe I’ll just go Archer>Ranger3>Scout>Falconer>Cannoneer

What will I miss by not taking up Archer2? Is the swift step crit attribute still in Archer C2? I really like heavy shot though.

Heavyshot, 5 more multishot hits (+faster load general on it), +Crit bonus 25% rate.

Crit bonus is really good, as crit gems (the green ones) get that bonus too. You won’t need too much dex to crit good.

Question is, what do you want and what not ^^. Your build is viable. Got good buffs and pvp playable.

Test it out if you like it. It doesn’t take too long to grind to ranger 3… then you can decide on either “more crit /multi/ heavy or pvp ability cloak”.

Ok thanks. Is the quick cast of multi shot only available at C2 of archer?
