That’s my build
Comments are welcome xD
a bit outdated

Is it?
Any things I need to change in your opinion?
Falconer c1 > Fletcher c1
Musketeer c1 > Fletcher c2
The things changed with rank 7
snipe’s target area was massively nerfed after that video was produced.
I have studied many different Musketeer builds and for my gameplay style i’ve come up with this:
Now that i’ve build this, the next step would be to make the perfect stat build to go with this build.
So far i thought of a 2:1:4 Str/Con/Dex build and i am curious if this is viable or if i should perhaps build differently?
full str for pve (maybe 4:1 for a little dodge and crit and accuracy)
go full str until lvl 100 , then see if you need some dex or not.
3:1 str:dex for pvp
dex isn’t so good , sure you’ll be harder to hit , but that shouldnt be your goal.
having enough to touch should be. and as archer , 3:1 should give you enough to touch pretty much anyone.
Con is really a bad idea , only usefull for those who go with it as their main stat.
Str is the way to go, boost your damages a lot more than a crit with low STR.
and when you do crit, the dmg are HUGH.
For anyone interested:
Sniper
This is what I will probably be going as an alt. Should be fine and fun at PvE. Early game is decent with oblique and barrage. Ranger for Steady Aim. And later on you can sneak with cloaking, play around with the falcon and shoot down stuff with snipe from cloak. Not sure about whether Penetration Shot oder Covering Fire. If Penetration Shot can not be canceled then Covering Fire for sure.
You know most of those skills can’t be used when you wear a musket right? Like hanging shot and musket does’nt work. Your build is good but instead of Musketeer i would go with Cannoneer as r7.
That way you don’t need to switch change your weapons all the time and you can use cannoneer skills while using hanging shot etc.
carefull , snipe doesnt aoe with circling anymore.
I heard it now only hit mobs within the scope, reducing the aoe range. Have they renerfed it?
yes , last patch , the aoe is tiny now , its basicly single target.
Weapon switching is seamless and is no problem anymore, and also you can’t use skills during hanging shot.
It’s still wide enough that if you’re partied with a Linker with Hangman’s Knot, you can still snipe 5-10 enemies.
You just can’t do it all on your own with just circling and hit 15 enemies in an area that’s 1/5 of your screen anymore. Even Musketeers admitted it was broken.
Circling is debuffing mobs right? So that mean that any party member(or not actually) will still benefit from it? if that’s the case i think i’ll still go this way for my first char, not being OP isn’t that much of a dealbreaker for me
Thanks! Going to think about alternatives (Ranger 3), but I still like hanging shot as means to escape melee classes.
The idea is to sneak and burst down people in PVP or on open Field Guild wars and still be able to PVE.
Maybe you guys can help me decide.
I have decided to get archer, QS, scout and musket… which people say its a good combination tboth to pvp and pve.
But which one is better:
Archer C3/ QS C2/ Scout C1/ Musket C1
or
Archer C2/ QS C3/ Scout C1/ Musket C1
Without QS we lose running shot, but without archer C3 we lose five ranks in both kneeling shot and multi shot… what do you guys think?
not worth going for qs if not for C3
Running shot is the main reason people take Quarrel Shooter, so get the second build for sure. It’s what most people will be going.
@jonathantorres10
Cool build, you’ll have lots of skills to spam and will require a lot of Mana Potions.
Fletcher to me seems like a mostly ignored class that has a lot of potential, but maybe needs a buff or attribute or two to be really good.
So between Archer C3 + QS C3 + Muket, and Archer C2 + QS C3 + Scout C1 + Musket … the second one is the best?
Is scout really necessary for PVP?
I’m sad in losing one rank in archer…
