the mov spd bonus works on pvp? anyone can answer me pls?
Another “intellectual person” that can’t even make an effort to read the past topics and come with useless complains.
By the way, that magnifier on top right of he forum header is the search function in case you don’t know or how to find it here an image to help you:
Uploading…
On a side note the forum keep on holding off the upload of images.
Right now i found the token thing a bit pay to win… the movement speed can become a great advantage in pvp, the shopping store only with token is nonsense and finally the 1 limit market item with 30% tax is too heavy. There are many ways to make money without forcing people to buy tokens.
I don’t known how much it will cost, maybe 5 TP maybe more. anyway I didn’t like how it is.
If it is designed to be “free” let it be “ftp”. Worst thing is to feel cheated. Make it monthly pay instead.
You people are confusing things, Free to Play =/= Free of Advantages, its free to play, you play if you want, you are free to do so, just don’t complain about people buying stuff that give them advantages for real money, that is the meaning on Free to Play, unfortunately for publishers, that mentality is not well accepted here on western market, so they will have a hard time to keep the game running like in some cases, and the greed don’t let them see that.
My point is: things need to be clear. I do not mind paying a monthly fee, I guess it would be the right decision btw. We can tell that there will be two types of game right now. One for those who do not want to spend anything and another for those who use the monthly token. It is not P2W yet cause I don’t see, right now, someone spending more and more to be stronger and stronger but it is not a free to play model since you NEED to spend something to use basic things in game better.
I do agree in part on this, while people would want to have some kind of bonus like Devilian which Trion not only use on Devilian but on all of their games, which give extra exp, drop rate, money drop rate, i myself think that is not completely, but a bit game breaking, me and many others who don’t live in the US territory will suffer to be able to get that kind of stuff, my country for example, the dollar value here is around 4x our currency, so if they billed $15 for a month of buff or w/e the heck they would come up with, for me here would be around 60,00 of my currency, now who want to pay 4x of what the US would pay to have the same kind of stuff? Which is why i think this kind of business model on a international game version is not worth as well as P2P games like FFXIV (which by the way i had to stop playing due to the dollar price increase), but in a market of cosmetics and account utilities (ex: PoE) things are different, it is stuff you buy not to be powerful, but to have convenience and for personal aesthetic taste, which i am in complete agreement.
Now for that side i’m not sure how IMC will approach also, i wish they go as GGG did on PoE, but even if they add something different, as long as its not game breaking or only give advantages for who is paying i’m fine.
free to play is not to a casher have advantages… only to have little customizations… like in dota 2 …but I don’t think they will share lucres of itens customized, selling itens customized by players in game
but its not enough. If you buy some customized items like costume, headgear etc (cosmetics). it will be permanently stored in your character. Meaning, you will no longer purchase that item anymore. Meaning, no profit.
If they will put duration on cosmetics like for 7 days, 30 days etc, some players might not buy it unless it has benefits on your character. Making your character fabulous for a short period of time is not worth it.
Making it permanent not only is profitable but nice, the reason is, when the new player see that its permanent he will be tempted to buy, what you are saying is not really that way, do you think the game will be keeping only a certain number of players? Of course not, some go but there is always people coming, and if they do as they said on their interview that was translated on other post, then you will see more people coming than going.
I understand but they can only gain profit from permanent cosmetics 1 time only. That is why i said its not enough. Having this premium user benefits + the thing that the OP is asking + cosmetics is pretty much good for everyone and doesnt have an effect on free user players. Also, i should’ve said less profit instead of no profit on my previous post.
Have you seen the effect of +3 movement speed bonus? Start crying if its too OP. If not, move on.
Not everyone will benefit from premium, not every one can buy it, what i mean is, each country have a dollar value, on my case it cost almost 4x, so if they ask for $15 for a premium status, for me it cost 60 of my currency, and i, by no means, will waste that much money for something that will be used for 30 days, beside costumes:
1. hair styles
2. hair color packs or just hair color
3. summon skins
4. weapon skins
5. stash space and/or inventory weight expansion (i would pay for those if they give more than measly 50 points)
6. char slots (wouldn’t mind if the starting char slot was 3 or 5)
7. lodge expansion
8. lodge skins
9. furniture for lodge
10. char server transfer services
11. char rename service or scroll (same for lodge name)
12. market slot expansion (max would be 10 slots and could start with 3)
13. mounts and mount skins (if they ever plan on add mounts)
There could be more stuff in there but i can’t remember what else i saw on other games.
I think the market sell limit and the mov spd bonus are a serious problem, and can turn the game into a chaos.
You, Sir, are an idiotoblivious to how things work IRL. Can you buy 4x the amount of goods with your currency in your Country that you can buy for $15 in US?
I think the oblivious one here is you, and wth is this comparison of yours? $15 dollars worth X on US, R$60 worth Y on mine even tho that is basically the price of $15 dollars here on my country, i didn’t found my money on the trash bin, i don’t have to pay 4x the value of something they sell in dollar and i won’t, unless i decide it is necessary, which in a premium time for an online game imo is not, i could pretty much pay my energy bill with that money, which is way important than that premium status.
That movement speed isn’t even a big deal, it’s like 2 points above base speed anyway.
Another thing to note would be IF it actually works in PvP which nobody has confirmed yet. I’ll log in tonight in krobt and ask some of the players if they’ve tested it but i highly doubt it will work in PvP.
I just logged in and asked a bunch of KR players,
They all say that this buff will most likely not apply in PvP Rooms or GvG situations, so not worry.
Do you guys have any other questions that you would like me to ask them?
is not a definite answer.
Neither are the assumptions of those who believe movement speed will be active in PvP
better be safe than sorry, right?
Everyone in the ToS forums seem to be spreading false information everywhere and contributing to fear mongering, I understand everyone wants this game to succeed, but by causing people to be confused and bash things that have not been confirmed? A little brisk isn’t it?
Just let things mellow out i suppose~ but right now, i see too much fear mongering~ I’m in the kobt, and many of the KR players do not think any of the new features are game breaking at all, that movement speed bonus is almost negligible and many people don’t even notice much of a difference.
