Honestly, keyboard is more comfortable but what im wondering is whether or not as a archer it hinders you if you go keyboard. Since the targeting with keyboard is horrid but if you use a mouse the cluster of mobs makes it hard to correctly deal dps to a certain mob.
I mean Ive played most of the classes and keyboard is absolutely fine. But for Archer it just seems a little wonky.
Currently played Cleric up to 150s, Swordy up 220s etc etc.
For real tryout a gamepad, borrow one see for yourself if you like buy a good generic or a 360 even steam controller.
You can change targets with the R analog and focus just pressing it also it is a wayyyyyyy more confortable them keyboard or key+mouse.
If it is wireless and you just gonna grind you can lay on a bed of just get in a fonfotable couch etc.

I find it alot easier to use mouse with my archer.
They say that you attack faster with mouse auto attack than holding the z button
