Looks neat the way it is, as long as don’t cause trouble to who is not involved lol.

^^Little skirmishes.

I think guild fights will be something big later in game.
Hopefully they will in add something like WOE times.

Castles with special dungeons, you onyl have acess too if your in the guild controling it (and it’s alliance members [count 4?]).

ATM getting your tower rekted is to easy xD.
Just atk them while the guild is asleep … an single intruder could take it down.
They should add timeslots.

Like A, B, C. And you need to allocated one, where your guild tower will be vunerable!
Daily … weekly? More likely weekly.

ATM Guild wars are just for pvp fun outside of pvp arena ^^.
ANd maybe to spawncamp someone, so that he can’t do ■■■■.
Because you can easily make someone incapable of leveling … just kill him and have someone spawn camp the nearest revive spot …

He won’t be able to play. Log off … and if he’s lucky the people camping him, aren’t roasting marshmallows above the spawn xD.

Literally … i would sit there, talk with mates. And allocated spawn camp duty times … if i really want to be annoying.
Atleast he won’t be able to play with that char … and any he might try to free his other one,

10+ vs 3 this one is … really awkward to watch. Well at least its shows gvg is not always fun or fair.

They should add or may add later on the ability of put tower defenses, like Cannons or armed NPC’s so it is not completely defenseless, that way, the guilds will see the need of more team work and they could add a raid group system or make it so that when flagged in the area, the guild members receive the buffs independent of being in a party as long as they are in the buff range as it would work on a normal party.

That looks so fun… I am not jelly at all. :persevere:

Do you damage your items when you get killed by enemy guild members? Beacause that would be a pain to repair again and again.

It would be also nice to be able to see fellow guild members on the minimap…

On the video around 12:53 you can see his gear getting damaged, well i think it is from the fight but could be the mobs around also.

I think people who arent part of warring guilds arent affected at all. Worst that could happen is lag in crowded maps.

Im counting on it. So, I can set up a Full Repair Squire or a Buffing Pardoner in conflict maps. lol

Good one! You can also make a ress service for token users to gain some talt :smiling_imp:

Maybe…just maybe…templar c2 adds that?

May be, but in all honesty i think it should be something different, maybe different guild levels allow you buy different stuff with Guild or Honor points or w/e they decide to call it by clicking on the tower and it will open a small window (like the class attribute window) and you buy what you can, and you earn those GP(Guild Points) or HP(Honor Points) by killing enemy guild members, towers, completing guild dungeons, quests, i think that way it add more fun to it instead of depending on the class, of course only the guild master can buy stuff from the tower.

I think regarding the guild towers guard npcs does sound nice. I think though if they do add guards they should either be passive to monsters, passive to monsters unless the tower is attacked by monsters if monsters can attack it or only spawn if tower is attacked or enemy guild members are nearby maybe if they spawn when attacked when they are not guarding they are inside the guild area. i do think if guards are added they should be for all Templars but a C2 Templar could maybe have a ability to summon one to help them in combat or something for a limited time . maybe they could progress like companions so to get good guards you need to train them . they could base the guads off the 4 starter classes but have a different costume to different themselves from players.

i do feel that there needs to be more benefits for the defenders of a tower . like when in RO you had a castle you had the advantage of having a lot of place to set up good defences. it wouldn’t really work for the towers so maybe the tower provides a buff for defending guild or the guards or something just to give the defence a bit more of a edge.

Yeah they can stay passive until a monster hit it while hitting some player (ex: a player guildless or on a neutral/friendly guild grinding or farming), then they can attack, or make the tower and guards immune to monster attacks, but i think the first is more fun.

Good job spotting our tower. I was confident that the best place to hide a tree was inside a forest, so that’s why I put it there. Even better was for you to wait for our ace members to be asleep before you attacked. I went there as soon as I got the warning message but the tower was dead, even though I used a previously saved teleport scroll to get there.

Do you guys even have a tower placed at the moment?

Well then… time zones and coverage might become an issue with the 35 member guild limit. There was hardly any resistance at all, hopefully this isn’t all GvG will be - smacking undefended buildings and mob lynchings.

What is so fun about night capping? That is the exact same bs that ruined the war in GW2.

It will be. There is no rules. That’s why the current GvG system is still a mess.
It’s all about how many people/allies you have and how many of them can play 12 hours-24 hours a day.
Imagine if there are 5 guilds working together and exploring all the maps to hunt your gang down.

just curious, what is the purpose of GvG here? is it anything like Rangarok’s WoE? where you are required to capture a certain castle or it’s just basically Last team standing kind of war?

Thanks before!

As I understand GvG right now, it’s nothing more than meaningless open world PvP. The only goal is to destroy their guild tower, and to rough up some punks who gave your guild leader the stink eye.

  1. A place to openly express your hatred towards certain group of people by declaring war against anyone you don’t like
  2. A place to get yourself killed in dungeons by your own party member (if one of your party member is your enemy)
  3. A place to prevent your enemy from getting world boss drops by killing them in the fight
  4. A place to spend all your money, time, and energy without any reward
  5. A place to hunt down your enemy or get hunted down for 24/7
