Monsters Overload

Yeah in some area monsters are all aggressive and spawn in big packs, but spawn also fast and people don’t kill them fast enought, so sometimes you have to walk thorugh a sea of aggressive monsters that stop you for a moment with each attack and yeah, even if you are tanky enought they really hit you a lot of times (like in Tenet Chapel 2F) and unless you are a swordsman class that can just kill everything with few sword swings cutting their own way through the sea of monsters, you are likely going to die…

My tip is to put a cap on the ammount of monsters that can populate an area, reduce the number of spawned monsters or reduce the spawn time, because even if you manage to kill one of them, 4+ monsters will appear after it…

Those places are for party grind though. You will hope there are many monster packs like that in higher level for grinding later but those lv80+ map are nearly like empty.

If they reduce the spawn time wouldn’t there be even more monsters in the area? I don’t get it.

Plus I don’t think this is a good idea at all, there are maps where the mobs are disputed by many parties, if we decrease the amount of them it’ll be even worse. Notice that maps like Tenet Chapel 2F are party grind locations, doing the quests solo there is possible, too. Did them with both wizard and archer already.

why you want to reduces monster and spawn time?i dont understand. And is are party grinding spot, and other ppls need it much for lvling up faster. if you wanna fast kill those monster, why you dont make party or change your weapon following type [Strike, hitting, pierce and slash] to kill other monster? or just run away if you dont wanna to die lel…

Sorry I meant increase spawn time, and I don’t think people would grind at Tenet Chapel 2F since I did kill Necroverter in like 1 minute with a 4-clerics party and we were arround lvl 40, the boss was like lvl 50, so yeah why someone would grind where you can just do quests?

bcoz some ppls can’t make it doing quest if they doing solo questing , the quest will be hard sometimes as example to kill the boss and will be high lvl that boss too. but depend on class too. Some ppls say easy to do questing but they forgot not all class can make it solo to do quest unless they do with party. thats why we need do grinding to get more stats for doing next high lvl quest.

Yeah that’s an option for sure, but you’ll not have such an easy time leveling up on the final release of the game. Grinding or more specifically party grinding will be a HUGE part of your gameplay. Decreasing the mobs right now will only cause complains later on.

So you can’t solo quest so you make party to grind instead of questing? XD

You do can, as I said before, just read my previous reply. These quests are doable solo and actually not that hard.

Yes I did try but they hit me even on air xD

yeah bcoz bfore im cleric so, hard to do quest with high lvl quest too. so i do join party grinding and target which are lvl i want first and then i cont do quest… but now im paladin. some quest i can do solo. but if you face with boss lv100 and your lvl 80 in quest? so how you do? you must find party right? hahahahah XD thats why must have 2nd option to do grinding party to get more stats. so easy to kill some enemy

the point is that you are saying you can’t solo the boss so you make a party to grind, but if you can’t solo the boss why don’t you make a party to kill the boss? XD
And yeah i’m going full support since what I want to do is to sell scrolls as a pardoner and support people as a oracle

The mob density is so god damned sparse later on, so please don’t say anything that could make it worse. Please just party to make it through the sea of mobs in Chapel, the area immediately after is better for gaining EXP after anyway since you’d be in the perfect EXP range for it.

There is too little monster to grind for though. Are we playing a different game?

You’re talking about one of the most amazing maps in game, You will beg for a map like that in the near future.

You need to develop a skill in pulling only limited amount of mobs.
The area in the middle has little to no spawns , use that as your fighting ground… pull 4-5 mobs at a time.
PROFIT.

Meh, I always die everytime I try to pass a room where there are no players but there are like 200 monsters because it’s like if monsters make the ground and there’s no way to walk without even touching them -.-"

I must agree that some of the rooms in Tenet Chapel are horribly, unrealistically, unfairly overpopulated. Though instead of just flat reducing the number of monsters, it’d be better to balance quality vs quantity:
Cut the spawns by 50%, but double their HP, Damage and Exp rates. Ensure that the dungeon is truly a party dungeon, and not just a party dungeon for the minority and soloable by everyone else.
At present, a swordsman can walk into the middle of those rooms with 40+ mobs and kill them all with minimal threat to himself in 3-4 hits. That’s neither challenging nor engaging; It’s reward without risk. It’s the difference between fighting 30 mobs that are no threat and 15 that’ll beat yo ass like a drum if you’re not paying attention. Of course, if you are paying attention, the rewards are equal to what the 30-mob gave. More, if you want a sense of accomplishment at a job well done.
