Im more concern why there is no description on monster gem. Yeah, making it tradable is good also, for both buyer and seller
Funny thing is.
In icbt… i dropped 7 … before level 100.
They must have downed that droprate too xD… or my luck got worse.
Not a single good dungeon drop in 20 runs…

Only some mobs drop gems so you have to kill the correct monsters to get gems. I took an evening when quests were messed up and got 3 different monster gems from low level monsters. I also managed to get a varve one when I was questing which was cool. The low level ones are easy to get but most people don’t spend much time killing those monsters.
I didn’t see a single Monster gem either with 30k killed mobs >,>
But even if one was dropped, unless its one I can actually use for a skill for my class, its utterly useless. Using a 0,0x drop to lvl gems? Please not!
The monstergem system is interesting but useless in the current state. In the cbt you could at least extract one from a weapon and sell it that way to someone who could actually use it.
And yes, its exactly like making RO cards just untradable.

Monster Gem drop-rates have been greatly reduced since iCBT. I’ll let the dev team know about this, but it doesn’t appear to be bugged at the moment.
I have seen people selling monster gems on shout chat. How can they be sold to other players?
But any comments on the matter of gems not being tradeable or sellable? It’s one of those systems you guys created but did not think through… It’s your own limitations that ruin cool features
I am 147 and I haven’t seen one either, and I am a Wiz 3 Ele 2 that mass kill the mobs.
You trade the equip you want socketed to them to put the gem in and trade the equip back.
Yeah it’s a really stupid and risky round about way of doing things. @STAFF_Ethan please also tell the devs to make it trade able or it defeats the entire point of a RO card-like system
What if we use the journal monster kill counter for that matter also? Something not easy, but way rewarding

Ten or more times these numbers (that’s at least 130 vubbe fighters for the Cartar Stroke gem, for example)
I think i will just feed them on normal gem. From what i know, people equip it on equipment and sell that equipment. Thats how people sell it.
That doesnt work anymore unless buyer gives you item he wants that gem in badly enough to waste 2 potential on an item.
Monster gems suck anyway. I can’t think of a single skill I’d want to have +1 level on in exchange for crit rate from a green gem. Unless they can be socketed in equipment other than weapons now; I remember in beta they all said like weapon or boots, weapon or gloves, etc. but it was actually only weapons.
Supportive skills and c3 skills, where +1 makes difference
Frost Pillar, Stone Skin, Joint Penalty, Running shot…
Until they actually fix the gems, I don’t see why there is a need to get so work up now lol.
Lvl 100 and some twinks around 40. No idea what are those gems :3
lvl 128 and no gems so far. would love to have magic missile +1 or my meteor/hail but so far nothing. in icbt i got at least 3 gems by the time i hit lvl 80

I’ve got 2 monster gem but on separate char~ 1st char got Earth Spectra Gem +1 melstis and another is Green Apparition Gem +1 Psychic Pressure
In Gem Enhancement both Earth Spectra and Green Apparition Gem gives 7350exp each~ I wish it could be traded though~
