Blacksmith says clearly " lvl1 gems and monster gems will be destroyed" should i belive him, or can i take out my +1 heal gem?

In icbt, u can extract monster gem.
but now, u will lose monster gem when extracted 
If extracting out a monster gem really has 100% destroy rate, they should change their help section.

You will lose the monster gem upon extraction. Ive extracted 7 so far and every one of them shattered.
So… why do you keep doing it…?

The first three were to confirm the results. The rest were because I had better things to add or was too tired and forgot.
