am i the only one who thinks that monk really needs a buff?
from my point of view
Iron Skin isnt that usefull.
DoublePunch the “main” skill for Monk has kinda high costs for what it does. I mean the dmg isnt that good and the range is a joke and u have to spam it for 2sta each use. And with 36stamina u run out of Sta before the 30sec cd on the Stamina pills is down so u cant really spam it that much.
Palm Strike does bad Dmg and has a bad range like Double Punch and the knock back sucks too when u are in groups because u kick the mobs away which sucks for AoE’s. The only good thing is the DoT which isnt 100% chance.
Hand Knife like Palm strike…bad dmg bad range and the Knock Up is kinda annoying too. And the Armor Break from the Attribute does he even lower the Armor? from what i saw so far there isnt much change in the dmg.
Energie Blast is the Best skill a Monk has but even this skill sucks.
the cast time is extremly long with higher skill level and u can get interrupted. the Dmg isnt that good because well it each hit does dmg and with high skill level it does many hits but in the same time u could do more dmg with Double Punch. It just does more dmg against many monster at once. Which gets kinda hard when people pull the mobs out of the range of the skill. And i think the CD could be a little bit lower. The Range of it is good but i think it could be a bit wider.
One Inch Punch has bad range and bad dmg just the DoT helps a bit which isnt 100% chance and is weaker then Palm Strike DoT.
God Finger Flick is a Joke.
Golden Bell Shield well i’am just C2 Monk but i think even Golden Bell Shield wont be a game changer. I think it will be like Iron Skin just without the dmg reflec and its against range/magic instead of Meele.
And i think that even C3 Monk wont change that much.
I mean even the Tempel Shooter from Sorcerer out dmg and out range a Monk…thats a joke that the pet alone of a class is better then another class which is meant to be a dd class. Well sure just has the Pet to do dmg but the pet can do Dmg while the Sorcerer can still use skills from pre classes which can deal dmg.
overall i think
-Palm Strike,Hand Knife,One Inch Punch need more Range and not each of them but 1 or 2 should maybe…just maybe get overheat.
-Double Punch needs adjustment in dmg/range/cost
-Energie Blast should have a bit wider range shouldnt be interruptible from atleast monster aslong its not something like a knock back or knock up or something like that.
-God Finger Flick i dont know the skill is a joke since i dont even use it i dont know what still skill could be good for at anypoint even with buffs…if it would give a Dot or armor break or anything like that it could be usefull but for only for dmg even with buff it wouldnt be usefull aslong as it wouldnt do tons of dmg.
but well this is just my opinion…what do u guys think about monk? And just Monk not priest not Cleric not Paladin…just the Monk class.
