Not only are mob spawns not even touched since the recent “increase” IMC did, but it’s going to get worse when this game goes F2P. This is an easy fix, and should really be addressed in the next patch. It’s making the game extremely unbearable to play when other people are around. High level players have the ability to completely deny mobs from low level players as well. I really hope they can fix this before F2P launches.
Yes, if you guys work on anything please let it be this.
With the current spawn algorithm 90% of maps are terrible for grinding. The last 10% with weirdly dense spawns are littered with bots and overcrowded.
I don’t even care if it means postponing bots sweeping or coming up with a not-terrible economy system, since those are difficult tasks and will likely take alot of refining.
But reverting/fixing the spawn algorithm shouldn’t be difficult. It will also help ease some of the pain of the bot infestation.
@Staff_Julie @STAFF_Ethan @GM_Francis look, another one of those topics. The spawn system is really bad. Increasing the amount of mobs won’t change anything, instead change the SYSTEM to respawn monsters every XX seconds instead of every FIXED 2 minutes.
