According to the news post, the changes to repair/teleport prices etc. were from the korean version, representing their attempt to curb inflation on those respective services. However, as many of you know, the particular solution that was applied was a flawed one, primarily because it severely affected new characters, and if anything, served to funnel the economy into players who had created squires and such.
In the even that inflation does indeed become an issue in this game, I have a few suggestions that may help (without adversely affecting players at low levels), even knowing that they may not even be reflected in the Korean version.
-Make the creation and maintenance of equipment at higher lvls scale
I’m sure this is already in effect, but if required, this could be made more severe.
-More reagents for high-end skills
Personally not a fan of this one. Making a class expensive to play makes it less fun to play! You don’t want players to have less fun.
-Introduce money sinks only available to high-end players
Something for players to throw their money at for fun, or small benefit! Certain cosmetics available for silver (costume dying, for example), NPC/faction favors, housing?
Hopefully there are additional suggestions that may pop up in this thread.
