Meta earth tower builds?

I know people say Fletcher 3 builds are pretty strong, but I feel like they don’t bring enough utility to an Earth Tower party.

In terms of the playstyle of Earth Tower, what builds would be optimized for teamplay? I know Falconeer and Musketeer provide awesome aoe capability for a team. What else would help?

Fletcher 3 has decent AoE however limited in what they can do, I would also like to know as watching videos of Earth Tower it’s just an AoE fest so to stay competitive your going to need something that has really good AoE viability.

so machinegun archer are out of the question for earth tower? ; - ;
haha

if you go Falconeer -> Musketeer after A2 and QS3, it should be really strong in Earth Tower.

I’d personally take Cannoneer over Musketeer for ET

why should it be really strong in earth tower? i mean circling doesn’t AOE your AA right? maybe it could help with musketeer skill, but the falcon is bad. hovering is single target with mediocre damage, pheasant has a high cooldown and 1 hit only almost impossible to do any damage in earth tower, we need to constantly use call and roost, musketeer skill would help but falconer here or anywhere is just a bone inside a meat.

i don’t understand where is the appeal for falconer at the moment.

right now circling can bring aoe res to 0 meaning your multishot can hit every single mob in it’s area. which is like 15/16 at a time usually.

because of the insane density of mobs in Earth Tower, Circling acts essentially as a +100 aoe attack ratio buff to your entire party.

It’s not about buffing your own damage, it’s about buffing everyone else’s as well.

And once you hit musketeer, you mostly only use musketeer skills at that point.

i see that’s a very very good news for falconer but, the whole rank of falconer is all for circling? and that’s it? now that i know it gives such huge AOE advantage of course it will be useful but really? is it worth it just for circling? what about outside earth tower?

Outside of earth tower you’ll just be using musketeer skills and auto attacks only anyways

ah i see, so in the end kneeling shot 10 is not that important?

edit: are you speculating or knowing?

3 Wiz3Ele3 1 Paladin 1 Cryo3Linker.

Ranger 3 is meta in Korean, but with the Steady Aim nerf its hard to say here.

That alone will change our meta. A2 -> R3 -> SR2 for example was built entirely around Retreat Shot + Steady Aim burst AoE (with a Chronomancer Pass to reset the CD on Steady AIm and Retreat Shot).

QS3 + Musketeer builds only work in Earth Tower if you have a Linker. That should still be viable.

Ill try to find the video again, but it seems to me that Pavise is actually worth something in Earth Tower.

You can turtle up in a corner of the map with all 5 people + Barrier + 2x Pavise in front of your group to block ranged attacks and pseduo taunt the mobs. Helps your melee attack slightly safer and kept arrows away from you.

Seemed useful to me. I’ll search for it when i get home.

That sounds awesome! I guess going A2 QS3 is the way to go.

That’s the build I had originally before being persuaded to ranger 3, pavaise is REALLY good and caltrops is handy CC when freeze proc doesn’t show up.

If you want aoe you can go wagushi or cannoneer or musket if you want to synergize with the auto attacks totally up to you.

I found the link to the video I was talking about, but Inven is making me sad atm.

Basically, as long as there is a Linker in the party, a QS3 auto attacking member brings a good bit to the party with the Pavise and consistent damage. I believe the guy in the video was A3/QS3/Cannon and they got to floor 5.

I was thinking of playing Wugushi, but I’m not sure how well poison scales into endgame. Really good AOE, and if poison scales well, good single target.

Seriously need more people like you who understands. 99% of Archers on iToS just rolled to Ranger C3 > Fletcher C3 because it’s the trend on KR. Barely any other player can think outside the box.

Not to mention, there’s way too many people underrating Retreat Shot of Schwarzer Reiter. It might even be the most powerful AOE in the game simply because of it’s damage:cooldown ratio.
