Mergen's Parthian Shaft skill

Good day Mergen mains!

So at rank10 I am Mergen2. My question is how do you guys distribute your points?

I used to have Spread Shot maxed. Come rank 10 I have maxed Downfall and found out Jump Shot has amazing damage too so I am maxing that.

What I am curious is have anyone else apart from me tried Parthian Shaft? The scaling dmg seems to be at par with Jump Shot which is really good.

It also can only be casted like how we do SR’s Retreat Shot, which for me apart from its damage is kinda gimicky. I personally like it though, together with Jump Shot’s gimick animation.

So what do you guys think? Tia

for Mergen c3 (with build wugushi or fletcher)

for Falcon c3 Mergen1 (aoe build)

for Falcon3 Mergen2 for bosses

Downfall it is good only in c3 where it becomes aoe

Jump Shot is real great

parthian shaft is very useful, since it gives you the mobility to attack and combine attacks and retarguardia, it hurts that this something bug but still makes it learn and learn to use it

Jump Shot even at level 5 jump too far for my liking :sweat:
How is it for level 10 in Velco raid?

Jump shot 10 is not a problem imo
Also, down fall is still good at mergen2 every should max it, tons of dps, spread and homing are meh and shaft is too gimmicky for me…

My distribution is:
Spread 15
Triple 15
Jump shot 10
Zenith 5

Yeah I noticed. “bug” where it is so delayed in casting but it seems pretty damaging!

I will be testing maxed Parthian Shaft since it really adds damage to my kit…

As we know, more skills in this game could easily translate to “more” dps if skill rotation is done correctly (just like rangerlfletchermergens)

This is my main so I wanna just maximize it :frowning:

Is homing arrow any good? After circling nerf to 1 ADR min, it looks like dealing 5 hits scatter randomly at mobs. How much AAR needed to make it effective? Or that is just it and only used while bossing?

On topic, I like parthian shaft but as supplementary skill. It fits in combo and make gameplay looks fluid. However only 1 point is enough as spread shot is better at hitting more enemies.

I’m torn between Arrow Sprinkle and Spread Shot, which one should i put more points into? I’m Falconer3Mergen2… I personally like Spread Shot because I can spam it but Sprinkle seems really good with Aiming.

Yeah I agree Spread Shot it better in clearing mobs but Parthian Shaft has same damage modifier as Jump Shot. And Jump Shot is a very good damage skill now if you notice, especially Aiming +Circling

Usually Arrow Sprinkle is left at lv1 for filler. On topic, right now even my Spread Shot is lv1 due to maxxing Parthian shaft. Though I am still testing this one out

If not mistaken, currently i tested and I am hitting 400k on crit on Spell tome mobs. And I dont have Critical buff x5 yet…

the problem here is that maximizing a skill that minimally fails 1/3 or 2/3 hit; that if when it hits it hits well … if imc does not fix it it does not suit more than 1 point to give it.

Yeah since yesterday I have been running CM runs on my main to test Parthian Shaft. My observations so far:

  1. skill is kinda buggy. Not sure if it is my lag, but I feel like “hopping” then arrow is nowhere

  2. in CM runs kinda useful since we do runs in corners so positioning is kinda easy for me. I am used to positioning since I played SR before

  3. well it does kinda miss a lot but remember Spread shot? They fixed and now it is really good now especially with Aiming

Again, still testing it out but definitely worth 1 level and lv80 attribute if it is your main (due to high dmg modifier)
