Mergen skill distribution

Seeing as Mergen C1 has 5 offensive skill that can go to lv 15, meanwhile we only have MAX 45 skill point at C3. Which 3 skill you prioritize to lv 15 first?

  • Arrow sprinkler
  • Homing arrow
  • Parthian shaft
  • Triple arrow
  • Spread shot

Hi there!

I’m really lost with my Mergen right now, my build is A3-Scout3-Falc-Mergen ¿Are those 3 most voted skills the way to go with the skill distribution in my case?

Could you give a hand please :grimacing:?

relax, that just show majority of us will prioritize those skill first. You are free to decide how to distribute. As long as mergen circle 3 isnt out yet, there will always be a change in those priority.

On paper the answer is yes but to be honest I run 5 points in Homing arrow and the more i try to use this the more I found it really bad. The charging time isn’t a really forgiving mechanic especially where all the bosses are doing huge and random Aoes which cancel your skill.

If I had to choose, i’d go in a 5 triple arrow (good damage in aoe and bosses), 5 in spread shot that is a strong aoe too and Arrow sprinkler that is in general a bad skill (randomness) but is an instant cast and is stronger for larger monster (ie bosses).

Thanks for the answer!
Pre-patch i read that homing arrow and circling was a really nice combo, ¿It is not the case anymore?

it is still great, if you dont get interrupted

Last question: Homing arrow vs Arrow sprinkler pros and cons?

Homing arrow:
+can be combo with circling
+vs 1 target it is 5x dmg

-need to be charged, can be interrupted

Arrow Sprinkler
+can be a burst if all arrow hit on 1 target
+can be captured by rogue

-it hit at a wide area, so unless you use falconer3’s aiming, it can’t be controlled which arrow hit which enemies
-can be interrupted

Thanks a lot!

Homing arrow has better sinergy with my build, so i will max it.

Triple Arrow, all the way!

PSA: You dont need to fully charge Homming shot for it to work, (you need lvl 2 or + for it to work) the more skill lvls homming has the shorter the minimum time you need for a lvl1 shot. you lose a bit of dmg, but its better than no shot and you can deal nice dmg.

My rotation: Circling>Full charge Homming shot>Triple shot x2> lvl1 homming (or full depending on aggro and on remaining circling time)> Spread Shot x3
